Hey everyone and Happy Sunday to you! There’s just something about spring/summer mornings when no one is awake and I get to sit with a hot fresh cup of coffee and ponder life. To tell the truth, it’s one of the few moments during the day when I have time to myself and so even if it’s early (and it usually is!), I treasure it.
Now – onto some new makeup to show you today! I’ve used new Wet N Wild products in this look, including: PhotoFocus Foundation in Shell Ivory, MegaGlo Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink, and ColorIcon Ombre Blush in In a Purple Haze. I also used two eyeshadow palettes I’ve shown before: Heart and Heavy and Hieroglyphic Heart.
Hi everyone! In my seemingly never-ending quest to try out more adventurous makeup looks, today I’m going to show you a two-toned green & purple makeup look with Glamour Doll Eyes Pass the Bubbly [press sample], ‘Til Death, FrankenGlamour, and Bittersweet.
Good Sunday everyone! At least, I hope it’s a good Sunday for you. 🙂 I’m so glad it’s springtime, there’s just something about the fresh air and the green buds on the trees that just fills me with hope for our future. Am I the only one that gets sentimental around spring time? 😛 I have a bright spring look to show you today with Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass eyeshadow palette.
Have I told you how much I really like Wet n Wild MegaLast polishes? They just are usually so nice, and I love the wide brush. I picked up I Dream of Jean Genie and Studio Glitter & Gold at CVS a long time back, tucked (aka hidden) on some end cap. Which is probably where another polishaholic had hidden them to buy later. But I’m a polish hunter, so I snagged them. Sorry, random polishaholic! 😛 Anyway, let’s take a look. 😀
I Dream of Jean Genie is a dirty jean polish with silver micro glitters. This is a jelly-ish formula, it builds up to nice coverage. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Studio Glitter & Gold is a gold based polish with flakes of gold, pink, and bronze. This is sheer and thin; application was uneven. This is 3 coats and no top coat.
I really wanted to like SG&G way more than I did, but the sheer factor was just too much for me. What do you think?
Happy Sunday everyone! I’m so exhausted – starting Easter weekend, it’s just been a steady go-go-go and I’m so tired! This weekend is the last of the crazy for awhile, I hope. Anyway, I have a quick makeup look to show you with Glamour Doll Eyes, Wet N Wild, and Colour Pop.
Hey everyone! Today is my oldest son’s birthday celebration so I’ve got to make this a quick post. I tried out a new look in my quest to break out of neutrals. I was chatting with my friend Kate and I was asking her help in finding a bolder, brighter makeup look. She found one from beautycloudnl on ig (I’d link it, but I can’t find the original!).
Morning all! Continuing on my journey to be more adventurous in my makeup looks, I’ve been wanting to try out a golden eyebrow look for awhile. (I’ve done precisely one other colored eyebrow look, also with Glamour Doll Eyes eyeshadows.)
For today’s look, I’ve used GDE Cheapskate, 4th Date, Juicy Mango, and Bat Queen.
