Morning all! This morning I have a fun thermal manicure to show you with Polish ‘M Trans-Allegheny and Turtle Tootsie Polishes Frankenstein’s Mask.
Trans-Allegheny is a light purple that shifts to a blurple to a deeper purple, with iridescent micro flakes. (Psst, it’s sold out as an individual, but you can still buy the 4-piece Halloween collection from Polish ‘M!) It looks like it dries textured but it doesn’t. It has a smooth application. This is 2 coats plus top coat.
I decided to pair it with Frankenstein’s Mask [press sample]. Here’s a reminder of what that looks like! (Psst, this is still available as an individual listing at Turtle Tootsie Polishes!)
Happy Wednesday to you all! I hope you’re having a good week so far. It’s definitely turned to fall here in Montana and I’m on the hunt for some sweaters but I’m kind of incredulous that sweaters are so freaking expensive! $30 for a regular sweater? Pshht. I’m over here like…Where are the $10 sweaters?? Anyway, speaking of fall – I have a Halloween nail polish trio from Turtle Tootsie Polishes that is now available – including an incredible thermal polish. 🙂 Read on for details about Ghastly Ghoul, Frankenstein’s Mask, and Fright Night. Morning all! I hope that if you’re having a heat wave like we are in Montana, you’re staying cool! I am sweltering and not staying cool because my 6month old is on a nursing streak and he’s sweaty – which makes me sweaty and him more sweaty. Ugh. It’s a sweaty mess. How about a mani that isn’t a mess….or maybe it is? I dunno. At first I didn’t really like it but then it grew on me. Let me know at the end what you think.
So I started off with OPI You’re So Vain-illa on my ring and pointer fingers. On my pointer finger, I used a giraffe print (maybe it’s a cheetah print?) decal and used Painted Polish Gray Goddess, then outlining with China Glaze Liquid Leather. I added some gems from Crystal Parade in the corner – didn’t really like how it turned out though. Continue reading

Hi everyone! Today I have a really great duo from Turtle Tootsie Polishes. This duo will be offered starting Thanksgiving at midnight and is only available through Cyber Monday at midnight. Keep reading through to the end for more details about Turtle Tootsie Polishes Black Friday sale.
5 Months of Bills is a dark forest green metallic polish. I had good coverage with 3 thin coats plus top coat. Just make sure that you’re letting each coat dry before applying the next coat to prevent dragging.
Midnight Madness is a dark gray – almost black – scattered holographic polish with holographic rainbow glitter.
I used 3 thin coats plus top coat. I had great coverage and the glitters spread evenly over each nail. The sparkle on this would just “pow” you in the face when you least expected it.
I also received a sample of Turtle Tootsie Polishes scented top coat in pumpkin cheesecake. In fact, that’s the top coat I used for both of these polishes!
I also used it on top of my manicure last week and I was pleasantly surprised. You do need to let it dry on your nails before you smell any scent. For the first day, I could smell the scent about 4 inches away from my face. The second day, the scent had faded somewhat but was still pleasant closer to your face. I am sensitive to smells but this was really lovely. Like a pumpkin scented candle following you around all day!
As I said, this duo will release Black Friday at midnight and is only available through Cyber Monday at midnight on Turtle Tootsie Polishes website. They will be $12 for the mini 6ml set or $20 for the 12ml set. The scented top coat will be able to be purchased with the duo for an extra $3. There will also be a store-wide sale for Black Friday weekend! Use the code “blackfriday25” for 25% off everything!
I’d love to know what you think about this splendid duo so holler at me in the comments below!
