Shleee Polish Dream Within a Dream
Don Deeva Acid Crush [previously swatched]
You all know I’ve been on this kick with magnetic polishes, and you’ve seen my previous attempts at magnetic + thermal nails (including magnetic thermal flame drag nail art, magnetic and thermal gradient nail art) so here’s another one! I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out.
Don Deeva Wanna Cyber, 3 coats plus top coat
Don Deeva Nocturnal Playtime, 3 coats plus top coat
Hey you all know how much I’ve been loving magnetic polishes, so it should be no surprise that I picked up two magnetic polishes from Don Deeva: Wanna Cyber and Nocturnal Playtime. Let’s talk about them! Continue reading
OPI Natural Nails base coat, 1 coat
Don Deeva Box Office Bitch, 2 coats as a base [previously swatched]
Tonic Polish Queen [previously swatched]
Un-frog-gettable Cuticle Cover around my nails
L.A. Colors Rapid Dry top coat, 1 coat
Dreamland Lacquer Ooh Shiny QDTC, 1 coat
Oh my gosh, so many steps to create this mani but it is well worth it. It came out really nicely and I have been flashing and moving my nails around a lot. I’ll detail the steps I took below! Continue reading
Shleee Polish Annihilation, chameleon chrome magnetic polish
Don Deeva Cardiac Arrest’ed [previously swatched], purple when cold to teal when warm thermal polish
I’ve been in a bad place lately with my anxiety and even though my nails are at a really nice length (*knock on wood*), I haven’t felt like painting my nails at all. I almost had an anxiety attack the other night because I couldn’t decide on what to use to paint my nails. That’s something I really hate about anxiety – the freaking out about stupid – absolutely stupid & pointless – shit. I’ve barely left the house because crowds give me anxiety as well as just general anxiety about being out in public.
Anyway, in a group I’m in on Facebook (Magnetic Polish Lovers), Christine (@shortywhatwhat) shared a mani where she layered a clear to purple thermal with a magnetic polish. I thought it was such a nifty idea and tried it with a clear to blue thermal and a different Shleee Polish (that mani will be coming soon) and it didn’t turn out. I really wanted this concept to work so I decided to experiment a little bit and found out a combo that worked in some flame drag marble nail art. I almost used Don Deeva Box Office Bitch – which I may use in a different thermal magnetic mani combo. Continue reading
Don Deeva Stripper Glitter
Don Deeva Box Office Bitch [previously swatched]
This is 1 coat of Stripper Glitter over Box Office Bitch with 1 coat of top coat. This is top coat hungry but applies even and has good consistency.
Don Deeva Sylvia “Sylveon” Bernstein
Don Deeva Glocks & PopRocks 3 coats [previously swatched]
The glitters on Sylvia Bernstein slightly stick up so I needed 2 coats of top coat.
Don Deeva Varnish Glocks & PopRocks (3 coats no top coat); Good consistency, applies a little patchy
