Guest Post From Manicured & Marvelous: Simple Stamping Turned Fun

Good morning all! Today I am super excited to have a stamping manicure by one of my favorite bloggers, Roselynn from Manicured & Marvelous!

Purchased By Me

Hiya guys! I’m Rose from the nail blog Manicured and Marvelous and I’m here to fill in today. One of the many things I love doing with my nails is stamping and so thats what I thought I would share. The one thing that always gets me ‘stuck’ is, what base do I do? I always think the extreme like gradient vinyl combo and end up psyching myself out. But then I thought of something and felt like kicking myself for not doing it ages ago.

Crelly polish base plus stamping for a simple magically mani!

CDB Lacquer Group Custom 1, Rica Robin's Egg Blue stamped manicure by Manicured & Marvelous

For this mani I used as a base CDB Lacquer group custom #1 and stamped over it using Rica’s Robins Egg Blue. The pattern for my stamping is from Winstonia W310. Initially I was going to end my mani there, but these rhinestones seemed to give it the perfect touch. I finished off my design with a glossy topcoat for a beautiful shine!

I love the way this turned out! It feels like the crelly base gives so much more dimension to the otherwise plain stamping mani. I definitely sense a lot more stamping manis over crellys in my near future!

Thanks Jessica for having me and I hope you guys liked my mani. Don’t forget to stalk me, my blog is ManicuredandMarvelous.com and you can also find me on Instagram under the username @roselynn787.

Thank you so much, Roselynn! This is such a pretty manicure and you are the best for creating it! 😀 Please let Roselynn know how much you liked this mani by leaving a comment below. 🙂

Guest Post From Polish Those Nails: Patterned Manicure

Good morning all! I can’t wait for you to check out this awesome post by Marisa of Polish Those Nails, so let’s check it out:

Hello lovelies!

I’m so excited to be guest posting for Jessica while she’s away taking care of her little one! Jessica is one of my favorite bloggers, because not only are her nails gorgeous but I love how committed she is the nail polish community. I knew instantly that I wanted to help her out by contributing a post.

Andddddd, I should probably introduce myself now…so hi, guys! I’m Marisa and I blog over at Polish Those Nails (previously Hey, Darling Polish!) My blog consists mainly of nail art, patterns, indie polish, and rambling. Which I’m currently doing, so let’s get to the nails! 😀

nails, nail art, nail polish, pattern, polish those nails, guest post, Here’s what I used:

be-happy-buy-polish-guest-post-grey-pattern-nail-art-bottle-shotPatterned nail art is my favorite to paint and to wear, so I wanted to share that with all of you! This look was inspired by this pattern by Moniquilla. How cute would this be as a scarf?

nails, nail art, nail polish, pattern, polish those nails, guest post, 1. Start by applying two coats of Pelican Gray.

2. When that’s dry, add a layer of Follies.

3. Using a detail brush and black paint, add on all of the “leaf” shapes.

4. Go back in with a smaller brush and blue paints for the flowers.

5. Finish each flower with a tiny spot of either white or black.

6. Clean up.

7. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

nails, nail art, nail polish, pattern, polish those nails, guest post, I loved wearing these! Gray polish isn’t something that I usually wear, but it’s nice to take a step back from all the super, crazy colors that I often reach for. What do you guys think of these nails? Are they something that you would wear? I’d love to hear your thoughts (:

Thank you so much for allowing me to take over your blog for this post, Jessica. I hope you’re doing well and are getting some sleep haha! Thanks to everyone who reads this too!

Hey everyone! Just a quick post today with my nail mail from the past few weeks, and some new in-store purchases. Nail mail just makes me so happy, like something in my day has gone right!

Barielle Bling It On collection bottle shots | Be Happy And Buy Polish

First up is the new Barielle Bling It On collection (press sample). From left to right: Angel Dust, Golden Halo, Sea Urchin, Shooting Star, and Amethyst. I really like how Angel Dust looks. I’m not sure about Amethyst – it seems a little out of place with the other 4.

Rica bottle shots | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Next is my first ever order from Rica! From left to right: If These Narwhals Could Talk, Good Night, and Good Afternoon. I’ve heard great things about Rica’s jelly polishes so I’m excited to try out Good Night especially.

Pahlish bottle shots | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Next is my Pahlish order (one of many, haha!). From left to right: Confetti Cannon (March 2015 duo), Tissue Paper Flowers (March 2015 duo), Train Underwater, and Italian Cream Soda. Confetti Cannon is already my favorite of these, I think. It sparkles so nicely!

Wet N Wild Silver Lake nail polish collection | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I picked up the Wet N Wild Silver Lake collection at Kmart the other day. From left to right: Wear Skinny Jeans, A Latte Love (not so grey IRL), Reject the Mainstream (brighter IRL), Tree Hugger (also brighter IRL), Stream of Consciousness, Warm Filter. I really like Tree Hugger and Warm Filter here.

B Squared Lacquer EDM collection | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I have been wanting the B Squared Lacquer EDM collection so bad and I finally bought it! From left to right: Rave, Plur, Trance, Down Tempo, The Drop, Kandi. No surprise, I really like The Drop and Trance already!

My first Celestial Cosmetics! This year I really have been wanting to try out new brands, so I made a leap of faith to try out Celestial. From top to bottom, left to right: Adrenalin, LE October 2014, Death is Not the End, Sparks Fly Out, Comet Lulin, LE September 2014, Trip. OPI Aloha From OPI, That's Hula-rious!, Lost My Bikini in Molokini, This Color's Making Waves bottle shots | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I picked up a few OPI polishes from the Hawaiian collection from a beauty supply store. From left to right: OPI Aloha From OPI, That’s Hula-rious!, Lost My Bikini in Molokini, This Color’s Making Waves. I might pick up a few more from this collection but I haven’t decided yet.

Sephora Formula X Magma, Desire, Push the Limits bottle shots | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Lastly! I picked up a few more Sephora Formula X polishes on clearance at my local Sephora inside JCP. From left to right: Sephora Formula X Magma, Desire, Push the Limits. I don’t normally go for orange polishes, but Magma just looked so pretty I couldn’t resist!

I still am waiting on another Pahlish order (I might have a problem), a Carpe Noctem Cosmetics order, and another set of polishes from Barielle. *phew*

What would you like to see first out of all these polishes? Let me know in the comments below!
