Hi there, wonderful readers! Today I have two separate nail polish duos to show you from Pahlish: the March and August 2016. I ended up using the creme from March with the glitter from August and vice versa. Let’s see how they turned out!
Loftiest Muse (March 2016) is a light robin’s egg blue creme polish. (You might remember this from this nail art manicure.) Formula on this wasn’t the greatest. It was sheer, uneven, and doesn’t self-level. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Hello, hello, my dear lovely readers. 🙂 I hope that your weekend was absolutely amazing. 😀 Today I have a manicure to show you with Pahlish Munchkinland and Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose and a black/white watermarble.
Pahlish Munchkinland is a pale pink base with rose gold flakes of different sizes. I layered 2 coats of this over OPI I Couldn’t Bare Less for a more pronounced white look. I dotted with Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose.
Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose is a pink holographic micro glitter with green flash/shimmer. Formula is very thick, and dries very textured. I used 3 thin coats but it took me THREE coats of top coat to get a glossy shine. I had no texture after 2 coats of top coat but no real glossy shine. No bueno.
I used OPI polishes to create the black & white watermarble. Of course, my other hand came out a bit better (and of course, I didn’t take a picture of her).
I love how this turned out – it’s just kind of a funky skittlette manicure (and you know how I like those!). What are your thoughts?
Hi everyone! Are you having a good week? I hope so! Today I have a polish that was a gift back in September (my birthday month!), Pahlish Bubble Yum. This was a Bespoke Batch from sometime in 2016.
Bubble Yum is a bright pink polish with gold and pink flakes. My pictures show it so much more dark than it is – it is a bright pink polish!
Formula had a good thickness to it; it does dry satin. This is 2 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.
I do like the occasional pink polish and this one has just enough oomph and pizzazz to keep my interest. What do you think of it?
Morning everyone! Today I have two Pahlish mystery polishes to show you, a bronze and a green. I hadn’t picked up mystery polishes in some time and then I let them just sit there on my untried table. For shame!
This green polish is a jelly base with teal and blue micro flakes, gold glitters and scattered holographic effect.
Application was a bit thick. It is also more green than the teal green my pictures show. This is 2 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.
This bronze polish is a jelly base with color shifting flakes, and orange and gold iridescent glitters plus scattered holographic effect.
Application was also a bit thick but otherwise good. This is 2 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.
I like the mystery polishes that Pahlish puts out, it’s a good price for something that you might love. Have you ever picked up a mystery polish from Pahlish?
So I had a post all ready for today, typed up and everything. And then somehow, it disappeared. No trace of it except that I had uploaded the pictures. Since I was starting over anyway, I decided to replace the post with this mani that I wore a couple of weeks ago with Pahlish Just Like the Setting Sun and Pretty & Polished Smoke & Mirrors.
Good morning everyone! Aren’t you so glad 2016 is over and 2017 has begun? I sure am. And I’m looking forward to this baby being born in a few weeks! Today I have some swatches and nail art with Ever After Burning Twilight, Grace-full Mango Sherbet [Hella Holo Customs], and Pahlish My Bespoke Psychopath II.
Ever After Burning Twilight is a holographic periwinkle cream base with gold, bronze, and pink flakies. Formula was a good consistency. This is 3 thin coats plus top coat. Continue reading
Do you ever have a mani where you’re just like “meh” in the midst of doing it, but then as you keep wearing it, you’re like “damn, this is actually really great!”? So yeah, today’s mani I’m showing you is completely like that. 🙂 I used Pretty Jelly Demeter, Pahlish Loftiest Muse, and China Glaze Custom Kicks. No individual swatches today, sorry!
I started off with China Glaze Custom Kicks on my ring finger. This is almost a One-Coat Wonder, but I did use 2 coats plus top coat. The formula is thick, and it will stain your nails!
I used Pretty Jelly Demeter on my pointer, middle, and pinky fingers. Demeter is a copper scattered holographic nail polish that shifts from copper to red to blue to purple. (I think that’s all the colors I saw.) Formula on this was thick and fairly brush stroke-y. This is 3 thin coats plus top coat.
Then I used Pahlish Loftiest Muse over Demeter, just on the tips. Loftiest Muse is such a delicate polish! Lastly, I added a small copper gem and a clear gem on each of those fingers.
Here’s another shot of how Demeter can shift colors.
Now do you see what I mean about starting off meh and then loving it?! Your thoughts?
