I talked to you about how I was feeling on Sunday and I guess that feeling hasn’t gone away. My kids still want to do the annual random acts of kindness in honor of my mom; to be honest, I don’t feel like doing it. I wanna stay at home and eat my feelings and not change out of my pajamas. But I’m gonna buck up and do it for my kids. And then maybe tonight, I’ll sit with a piece of cheesecake and some wine and just cry.
As always, I hope you join me in doing a random act of kindness today in honor of someone you love and cherish. Hashtag it #RAOK4Lucy so I can see too.

I know, I know. Halloween has come and gone. And I would have had this post up on Halloween or before but I’ll be honest, I’ve really been struggling with anxiety this week and being seriously stressed and overwhelmed (still am 😦 ). So blogging took a backseat (thank you, past me for scheduling a ton of posts ahead of time) while I’ve been trying to sort myself out. I’m not completely sorted out (who is these days anyway?) but I wanted to sit down and show you the manicures I’ve had on my hands over the last couple of weeks leading up to Halloween. I’ve done a blood drip manicure, a disappearing/reappearing manicure, and a Frankenstein themed manicure. A copious amount of pictures ahead 😉
Morning all! Today I have a grey flakie mystery polish that I picked up from Pahlish like….I dunno, forever ago. I’m slacking at getting polishes on the blog in a timely manner lately. Oops.
This is a grey polish (derp, I said that already) with multicolored flakes. It applied like a jelly polish, and had a good consistency. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
I dunno, there’s something classy about this polish, don’t you think?
Morning all! I hope you had a great weekend! My husband was out of town on a short emergency trip – his grandmother died unexpectedly – so it was nice to have him home. For today’s mani, I have a combination of Pahlish Armor Falling Down and Darling Diva Polish Kelpie Pee holo [press sample].
Armor Falling Down is a brown toned purple (purple toned brown?) with golden shimmer. This had good consistency but let dry before applying second coat, otherwise it’ll be a bit patchy. This is 2 coats and no top coat. Continue reading
Hey all! I found a bunch of photos of Pahlish test batches I’d taken a long time ago so I thought I’d better get them up to show you. Included in this post are: Brittanica, Sea Glass Beach, Wild Roses, Pinewood, Moderne, and Fido. Continue reading
Hi there, wonderful readers! Today I have two separate nail polish duos to show you from Pahlish: the March and August 2016. I ended up using the creme from March with the glitter from August and vice versa. Let’s see how they turned out!
Loftiest Muse (March 2016) is a light robin’s egg blue creme polish. (You might remember this from this nail art manicure.) Formula on this wasn’t the greatest. It was sheer, uneven, and doesn’t self-level. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
