Hello, hello, my dear lovely readers. 🙂 I hope that your weekend was absolutely amazing. 😀 Today I have a manicure to show you with Pahlish Munchkinland and Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose and a black/white watermarble.
Pahlish Munchkinland is a pale pink base with rose gold flakes of different sizes. I layered 2 coats of this over OPI I Couldn’t Bare Less for a more pronounced white look. I dotted with Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose.
Fancy Gloss Pixie Rose is a pink holographic micro glitter with green flash/shimmer. Formula is very thick, and dries very textured. I used 3 thin coats but it took me THREE coats of top coat to get a glossy shine. I had no texture after 2 coats of top coat but no real glossy shine. No bueno.
I used OPI polishes to create the black & white watermarble. Of course, my other hand came out a bit better (and of course, I didn’t take a picture of her).
I love how this turned out – it’s just kind of a funky skittlette manicure (and you know how I like those!). What are your thoughts?
Hi everyone! Happy Saturday to you 🙂 I’m skating in late in the week with the OPI Mad Love color of the week which is nude/neutral this week. In this week’s life update, I also want to talk about an upsetting situation that happened to me this week and the importance of being kind.
I started off with 2 coats and no top coat of OPI Samoan Sand. This is fairly sheer, but does self-level nicely. Continue reading
Hi everyone! Just dropping in with a quick post about my current mani. This week the OPI Mad Love fb group’s color of the week is pink and yes it took me all week to be able to sit down and create a mani! (More on why at the life update at the end of this post.) I used all OPI polishes: Mod About You, Suzi Shops & Island Hops, Suzi’s Hungary Again, Charged Up Cherry, My Throne for a Cranberry Scone, and DS Sapphire.
I started off with 2 coats and no top coat of Mod About You (black label). This is a very pale pink-white polish. Formula was uneven but gah, I love the old OPI black label polishes! There’s something about the way they smell…yes I am a freak. 😛 Continue reading
Hi everyone! I’m back again with another nail art look for OPI Mad Love’s color of the week, which is yellow and/or gold. Now, yellow isn’t really my favorite nail polish color – I looked in my melmers and I had 4 gold OPI polishes and 2 yellow OPI polishes. Not exactly swimming in this color family, if you feel me. 😛 Also, my ring finger on BOTH hands got split all the way down so I am rocking the total nub life on those fingers. Why yes, I am irritated about that! Anyway, check out my nail art below and afterwards I’ll give you a mid-week check in! (oh P.S. Go check out this nail art guest post I created for Dina at Secretary’s Nail Art!)

Hello, Be Happy and Buy Polish readers! I’m Stacie from wacie.com and I’m your guest poster today. I have a black and silver skittle mani that I hope you’ll like. For this look, I used Digital Nails‘s Pandorica (black holo) and Wow (silver holo), Sally Hansen’s Black Out (black creme), OPI’s Push and Shove (silver foil), and Indigo Bananas‘s Moonlight (Clair de Lune) (silver flakies). I used top coat on every nail but the middle one. All photos were taken in direct sunlight.
Hi everyone! I wanted to show you my current mani because I’m just so excited about how it turned out! 😀 I’m in a great group of fellow OPI nail polish lovers called OPI Mad Love (please join us!) and we’ve been doing OPI colors of the week – and this week is blue. I decided to try my hand at doing a mani!
I started off with OPI Keeping Suzi At Bay, a dusty ocean blue. Formula was a bit jelly and a little on the runny side. This is 2 coats and no top coat. Continue reading
The day after Christmas, time for some relaxation for everyone, I hope. Today I’m showing you a manicure that I received so many compliments on, and I left it on for a whole week because I loved it so much.
I started off with a base of OPI Alpine Snow. I then used the dry brush technique with OPI Silver Canvas, and then sponged on some of OPI Don’t Speak. I loved how this gave it kind of an antique look.
With OPI Flip Flops & Crop Tops, Dutch Tulips, and Charged Up Cherry, I created roses on each nail and then on some of the roses added silver studs to the center.
I just loved how this was so visually striking! I’d love to know what your thoughts are. 🙂
