Morning everyone! I’m so exhausted right now, and I need sleep that is nowhere in sight. Do you ever wanna just fall down and sleep for 10 hours? Yeah…that’s how I feel. But the mom show must go on and the blogger show too! 😛 I have three more polishes today from Madam Glam to show you: Golden Beauty, My BF Loves It, and My Precious.
Golden Beauty is a glittery golden nail polish that dries to a textured finish.
This is 2 coats, shown with top coat in the macro above. Formula was thick, but in a “lays and stays where you want it” way.
Next is My BF Loves It, a deep purple polish with flecks of blue, pink, and gold. It also dries to a textured finish.
This is 2 coats, shown with top coat in the macro above. Formula was again thick, but in a good way.
Last is My Precious, a charcoal black polish with specks of silver. This is 2 coats plus top coat. Formula was thin on this one. It dries slightly textured. (Also, I kept hearing Smeagol in my ear saying “my precioussss”.)
My favorite is definitely My BF Loves It – the complexity is so stunning! But all three are still available at MadamGlam.com. 🙂
Anyway, I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Good afternoon everyone! How are you doing, mid-week? Yesterday I had my cousin’s wife stop by and treat me to lunch and conversation…sorely needed for this mama, I tell you what! Today I have two creme polishes from Madam Glam: For a Lady and Underground Queen.
For a Lady is a lovely mauve creme polish. Very grown up and flattering! Formula was a little jelly-ish. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Underground Queen is a beautiful dusty blue creme polish. Formula was also a bit jelly-ish. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Both of these are still available at MadamGlam.com. As a creme nail polish lover, I was quite pleased with how both of these performed!
Afternoon all! Quick nail art post to show you today with Baroness X Mirror, Mirror and Scofflaw Nail Varnish Gee That’s a Large Beetle, I Wonder If It’s Poisonous.
I started off with 3 coats of GTALB, IWIIP on my index and middle fingers.
On my ring and pinky fingers, I used 2 coats of Madam Glam Perfectly Natural [press sample] as a base. Then I just randomly placed striping tape and painted over it with Mirror, Mirror.
GTALB, IWIIP is a beautiful deep blue jelly with scattered holographic effect and flakes and specks in blue, purple, and green. Incredibly hard to capture the totality of this beauty!
Well, this was an interesting manicure, not sure that I liked it completely – I think I only had it on for a day. What are your thoughts about it or the polishes I used?
Hello there! I’m back today with another Madam Glam polish, this one called Not Ashamed.
Not Ashamed is a blackened teal green textured nail polish. It isn’t as complex as Madam Glam’s I Love Winter that I showed you a few weeks ago, but it still is lovely! Formula was great – laid down right where I wanted it to with no dragging or bald spots.
This is 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. I do prefer this one with top coat as all those lovely little bits of sparkle come shining through!
This one is definitely a winner in my book! You can pick this polish up from MadamGlam.com and use the code “BFbhbp” for 30% off your purchase!
Hi all! Back again for another prompt for the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge and today it is ornaments!
I started with 2 coats of Madam Glam Perfectly Natural [press sample], then used Pahlish Sour Caramel Apple (green), Cotton Candy Creature (purple), Caramel Apple Orchard (red), and Spectral Taffy (blue) to create the ornaments. I then used Bohemian Polish Lake Placid Gold [press sample] to create the gold strings that the ornaments were hanging from.
Of course, we have to see what everyone else created:
Do you have a special ornament you hang on your tree each year? The commemorative ornament with my mom’s picture is the first on our tree each year. 🙂
Good day all! (“I said good day!”) I hope you are having a splendid start to your day. I’m going to show you another great polish from Madam Glam, called Beyond Gorgeous.
Beyond Gorgeous is a super sparkly almost-clear based (it has just a tinge of light green) based micro-glitter nail polish. This is 2 coats with no top coat.
I wanted to really love this one, but I just kind of like it. As it is a micro-glitter, it’s going to be kind of textured but I dislike micro-glitters like this as it is hard to get your tips just right without showing free-edge. It would look much better layered though!
You can pick this polish (and others!) up at MadamGlam.com and don’t forget to use the code “BFbhbp” for 30% off your purchase!
Good morning all! It’s a rare Saturday post for me today but I have 3 luscious creme nail polishes from Madam Glam that I just had to show you: Baby Boy, Kiss Me Now, and Endless Passion.
First up is Baby Boy and it is a beautiful baby blue creme polish. This is 2 coats with no top coat, and it went on milky and self-leveled perfectly.
Next is Kiss Me Now, and this is the perfect hot pink-coral nail polish. This is 2 coats with no top coat, and again, it self-leveled perfectly.
Las is Endless Passion, a beautiful burgundy red (reminds me of a wine I drank on Thanksgiving, actually!). This is 2 coats with no top coat. The formula on this one was a bit thin and wanted to flood the cuticle area, so just watch how much polish you’re putting on your brush.
The winner here for me is definitely Kiss Me Now. I think it’s just “not pink” enough to win me over. 🙂 You can pick these up at MadamGlam.com, be sure to use the code BFbhbp for 30% off your purchase!
Now, I’m off for a fun Saturday, and I hope you are too!
