Good morning, beautiful reader! I’m so excited to bring you the L’Oreal Dark Sides of Grey nail polish collection this morning. I spotted this at one of my Walgreen’s and over the past week, picked all of them up. Click through after the collage to see each one, and my thoughts!
Hello wonderful readers! Thank you all for your lovely comments yesterday – I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who has been having blah days. LOL! Awhile back I was polish hunting at Ross (because you never know when they’ll have good stuff!) and I found a package of L’Oreal polishes. I ended up really liking two, and have them to show you today! 🙂
L’Oreal The Muse’s Attitude [affiliate link] is this glowy green that shift slightly to a darker blue-ish purple. This is 2 coats with Barielle top coat:
L’Oreal The Mystic’s Fortune [affiliate link] is a glowy blurple that has a slight shift to a darker purple . This is 2 coats with Barielle top coat:
If you can buy these, you definitely should. I was actually surprised on the formula; usually L’Oreal’s formula is so dang thin and always floods my cuticles, but this time the formula was so much better! I’d love to know which of these you prefer, so hit me up in the comments!
Good morning, I hope you are having a good Friday morning! (yay Friday!) Today I have the L’Oreal Miss Denim collection; this is a 6-polish collection of textured nail polishes, and I have four to show you!
Good morning all! I hope you are well and having a wonderful day. 🙂 Today I have a different kind of post for you. After I came across swatches of the Collection Privee from L’Oreal of lipsticks & nail polishes, I knew I had to have them all! In this post, I’ll be showing you the lipsticks and corresponding polishes for Frieda’s Nude, JLo’s Nude, and Doutzen’s Nude. Click here for Julianne, Eva, and Liya’s shades. Jump through after the collage for more!
It’s day two of our Get Lucky Nail Art Challenge, and today it’s Ireland-Inspired. This category includes anything Ireland: the flag, the flowers, plaids, crests, claddaghs, the countryside, etc.
I decided to try for a partly cloudy sky with green landscape and Irish flowers. I used A Girl Obsessed It Rains Diamonds on Jupiter and Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See for the sky, with WNW A Blank Canvas for the clouds. For the green, I used L’Oreal Hyde Park (lighter green) with Revlon Balsam Fir (darker green).
I did a bit of research, and I found that a native Irish flower is St. Patricks Cabbage, which seemed appropriate for the challenge! The flowers were done with Jessica Yellow Lightning, Jessica Sharktooth, and Jessica Conch Shell. On my ring finger, I decided to try to do a claddagh ring, which didn’t really turn out well at all! I used OPI L.A.M.B. and Black Onyx to create it.
What do you think? I like how my flowers came out, but really not happy about that claddagh. LOL! I can’t wait to see what everyone else did, let’s look!
I’d like to thank everyone who commented and supported me during yesterday’s #RAK4Lucy. I really did have an amazing day, and my heart was so full it was almost bursting. I didn’t do any of the random acts of kindness for acclaim but rather to focus on giving to others instead of being insular in my grief. Thank you to those who sent messages and also did random acts of kindness. You all are amazing! Until tomorrow,
Good morning everyone! How is your day going so far? I’m up and at ’em with a large cup of coffee, trying to wake my eyelids up. 😉 I have to apologize to weathermen (people?) after yesterday’s post. We ended up getting a few inches (though not the 9 inches they predicted!).
I didn’t think I’d end up liking this one as much as I do, but now it’s my favorite of the three. With or without topcoat, I really think this is the best. Have you picked up any of these Gold Dust nail polishes yet? I had the hardest time tracking these three down, unfortunately. Since these are limited edition, grab them while you can!
Later today I’m linking up as part of FingerFood’s Theme Weeks Nail Art!
