Hi lovely readers! Earlier today I showed you product photos & swatches of the Wet N Wild Queen of My Heart makeup collection. This afternoon, I’ll be showing you the first of three makeup looks I created with these products. Today I’m starting with what I think is my favorite of the three eyeshadow palettes: Will You Marina Me. I’ve also used MegaGlo Cheek & Lip Tint in Flirt On the Street and Crush Upon a Time; and the MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Lilac to Reality.
Morning all! I have my third Glamour Doll Eyes insider look of the month to show you with the eyeshadows IT’S SO FLUFFY, Sex Appeal, and Tattooed Remix. Glamour Doll Eyes is an indie makeup company that pretty much rocks. I’ve been a fan for several years.
IT’S SO FLUFFY is a white-pink shimmer eyeshadow with blue sparkles. Described on the site: “sheer pale pink with a golden purple shift and blue sparkle.” Check out a previous insider post for arm swatches.
Sex Appeal is described by the site as “a gorgeous sparkle overlay of teal with a dark purple undertone.” [My bad, I didn’t get a separate pic of this!]
Tattooed Remix is a blurple eyeshadow (more purple than my photo) with green & gold sparkle. Described by the site as “a blue based purple with a pinky copper sheen and gold & green sparkle.” Check out my colored eyebrow post for arm swatches.
I used IT’S SO FLUFFY all over. I built up Tattooed Remix on my lid; applied it, blended it, applied, blended, etc ad nauseum. Continue reading
Afternoon all! I have my second insider look of the month for Glamour Doll Eyes to show you today. This includes a look I’ve never done before: colored eyebrows! I’m using Chasing Ghouls (Halloween 2014 Gift With Purchase), Spider-Sense, and Malicious.
Malicious is a purple taupe with blue sparkle and green-blue duochrome. Described by the site: a deep taupe base with a blue duochrome.
Spider-Sense is a red-pink with blue sparkle. Described by the site: a medium to dark red with blue sparkle.
From top to bottom: Malicious, Spider-Sense, Tattooed Remix. On the left side is over NYX Cosmetics Milk and on the right over GDE Foil Me. Continue reading
Hi everyone! I thought I’d show you my makeup look from Easter Sunday. I hope you don’t mind that I’m branching out more into makeup & beauty looks. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing and now that I think my skills are improving, I like to show what I’ve been creating. As a pale redhead, I’ve always been scared to try out looks that are more colorful, but I’m trying to be bold!
I started off with a sticky base with NYX Cosmetics eyeshadow stick in Milk. Then I used Urban Decay Fast-Ball on the inner lid and 1985 on the outer lid.
In the crease and outer corner, I used Urban Decay Underhand. One of the last steps was to use UD Discreet on the brow bone and an unnamed white from BH Cosmetics in the inner corner.
I used L’Oreal Infallible eyeliner for my tight line/waterline, and Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Thick/Thin eyeliner as my regular liner. Mascara used was UD Perversion.
I’d love to know what you think of my bolder look! 🙂
Hi everyone! Just a quick post this afternoon – I applied to be a Glamour Doll Eyes insider and I was accepted last week. Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE) is an indie makeup company that I’ve been supporting and using for years, so I’m thrilled that I was chosen! I get to use 6 eyeshadows (that were sent to me) in 4 different EOTD looks and I have the first look to show you here.
I started off with Pass the Bubbly all over. I then used Fabulous! Remix on the lid. I mixed Incognito Remix with Glamour Doll Eyes Foil Me in my crease and the outer corner. In the inner corner, I used Cloud Coverage for a bit of brightness.
The eyeliner used for my waterline is L’Oreal Infallible eyeliner in black and for the regular lining is CoverGirl Intensify Me eyeliner [press sample, previously swatched]. My mascara is Buxom in black. Lastly, the lippie is a nude by Laura Geller Luscious Lips Liquid Lipstick, Cherry Almond.
Pass the Bubbly is already one of my favorite GDE eyeshadows! I’ll have macros of each shadows to show you soon. 🙂 Don’t forget to head over to GlamourDollEyes.com to check these shadows (and more) out.
Hey all! Today I have a fairly new(ish) nail polish collection to show you: L’Oreal’s Bohemian Beauty, featuring: Sunkissed Silver, Boho Babe, Peaceful Pink, Radical Rose, Flower Crown, Blissful Blue, Totally Turquoise, and Gypsy Glitz. I have 7 of these – I’m only missing Sunkissed Silver because it totally reminded me of Aux Chandelles from the Dark Sides of Grey collection. Click through after the jump for the review!
Good almost-afternoon, readers! I hope you are doing well. The Challenge Your Nail Art group is doing a nail art challenge for February called Love Is In the Air and I’m trying to do a few of the prompts, despite not feeling well. Today’s prompt is “nail art technique I love” and how could I not do a dotticure?
I started off with 2 coats of OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu, and used L’Oreal Hot Couture (gift) for my heart and dots. I then used one more thin coat of Don’t Touch My Tutu on top.
I love this sweet look, and I hope you do too! Be sure to check out the rest of the looks for today by clicking below:
Tomorrow’s prompt is “I Love the Color…”, any guesses as to what my favorite color is right now?
