Glamour Doll Eyes Insider Look 1: Pass the Bubbly, Fabulous! Remix, Incognito Remix, Cloud Coverage EOTD

Press Sample buttonHi everyone! Just a quick post this afternoon – I applied to be a Glamour Doll Eyes insider and I was accepted last week. Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE) is an indie makeup company that I’ve been supporting and using for years, so I’m thrilled that I was chosen! I get to use 6 eyeshadows (that were sent to me) in 4 different EOTD looks and I have the first look to show you here.

I started off with Pass the Bubbly all over. I then used Fabulous! Remix on the lid. I mixed Incognito Remix with Glamour Doll Eyes Foil Me in my crease and the outer corner. In the inner corner, I used Cloud Coverage for a bit of brightness.

The eyeliner used for my waterline is L’Oreal Infallible eyeliner in black and for the regular lining is CoverGirl Intensify Me eyeliner [press sample, previously swatched]. My mascara is Buxom in black. Lastly, the lippie is a nude by Laura Geller Luscious Lips Liquid Lipstick, Cherry Almond.

What’s In My Travel Bag: Makeup Edition

Press Sample buttonGood morning! This week, I’m talking about “What’s In My Travel Bag” since I’ll be traveling soon. Today I’m sharing with you what I consider to be my makeup essentials for traveling.

What's In My Makeup Travel Bag | Be Happy And Buy Polish

My requirements for what goes in my makeup bag: 1) it has to be something I will actually use, 2) no repeats (double blush, double bronzer, etc),  3) it has to be a necessity, and 4) I can’t go buy something new just for the trip.

EOTD with Japonesque Velvet Touch Eyeshadow

Amazon Vine Voice | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood afternoon! I hope you are having a great day so far. I have a review and eye of the day (EOTD) with Japonesque Velvet Touch Eyeshadow in shade 03.

Japonesque Velvet Touch Eyeshadow 03 | Be Happy And Buy Polish

First off, I have to say how much I love the packaging. Look how pretty this is!

It’s nice how big this compact is, no wasted spaced here! I experienced no fallout with this shade, it was just very silky smooth to apply.

A quick swatch on the back of my hand, it’s a little shimmery and it’s like my skin tone but better. LOL!

I’ve used it on my brow bone and inner corner, with tarte Make a Mauve (Rainforest After Dark palette) on my lid blended out.

I also used Laura Geller GlamLASH mascara, and Laura Geller luscious lips liquid lipstick in Cherry Almond. (Holy smokes, please ignore the redness on my chest!)

I found the quality to be very good, but of course, you’re paying $18 for one eyeshadow, for .05 oz of product. Is this something I would spend the money on? I probably would not as I prefer to splurge on palettes (when I get the chance to splurge). You can find this currently on Amazon.

I’d love to know what your thoughts are on this eyeshadow. Have you ever spent almost $20 for one eyeshadow? Sound off in the comments below!
