Hey everyone! I hope your week is swimming along. So far I’ve avoided getting the cold that everyone else here has (knock on wood), but otherwise it’s been kind of a crappy week. Which is why I thought I could cheer myself up with a new mani. I spied Don Deeva Varnish Notorious P.E.E. sitting on my desk unused so I thought I’d try it on.
Notorious P.E.E. is a polish that was made for the Rainbows and Unicorn group on Facebook. It is a blue to purple thermal polish with the unicorn pee pigment and silver holo specks. I thought it was so cool that the first photo above was just after I finished my mani and just my ring finger was warm! Continue reading
Happy Saturday everyone! Well the sickness in the household continues and it’s snowy, cold, and icy outside so we are stuck inside. But life rolls on and on and while I have a moment, just a quick post to show you what’s currently on my nails. I’ve used KBShimmer It’s Petrifying, OPI No Tan Lines, and Baroness X Anthracite (X Army group custom).
I’ve used 3 thin coats plus top coat of KBShimmer It’s Petrifying on my pointer and middle fingers. This is a light taupe base with glitters of gold, orange, black, white, and dark blue. It was hard to get the glitters evenly on the nail. Continue reading
Morning everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend and are ready for the week. 🙂 My husband’s car broke down (again), and he fixed it (again), plus we did a whole bunch of running around which basically that feels like all my life is anymore. But, it’s a new week full of new adventures. 🙂 Today’s manicure is one that I was inspired by a manicure from Nail Polish Society (who comes up with some of the best manicures, I think).
I started off with 2 coats plus top coat of CrowsToes Nail Color Milquetoast on my index finger. This applied a bit bumpy but there was good glitter coverage (yes those two things are connected). Of course I don’t think my super short nail helped either. Continue reading
Good morning, you wonderful readers. 🙂 I know usually I show nail art on Mondays (why I picked Mondays, I don’t know, to be honest) but I’m showing you some pretty nail art on a Friday this week.
I started with OPI Viking in a Vinter Wonderland, a beautiful purple cream. This is 2 coats and no top coat. Continue reading
Morning all – I know it’s feeling like fall everywhere you go but I have a few more summery manicures up my sleeve, including this one with the Sinful Colors Color Eccentric Neons! I’ve used White on Time, Out in Space, Interglamactic, She’s From Mars, Eccentricity, Diamond Blogs, Jean Queen, Flame Game.
I started off with a base of White on Time then splotched the neons over it randomly. Continue reading
Happy Monday to you all! Tomorrow I will have a 7 month old in the house! He is such a cute lil stinker who gets into everything and has 6 teeth. Lately I’ve had zero time to swatch polishes so I’ve been relying on manicures and swatches I’ve done months ago – like today’s manicure comes to you from June! Let’s check out this mani with KBShimmer Cubicle Pusher, Polish ‘M The House Always Wins, and Baroness X Panty Dropper.
KBShimmer Cubicle Pusher is a purple toned brown holographic polish. Pretty straightforward but it’s pretty! This had good consistency and applied well. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Hi everyone! I hope you’ve had a good weekend. I’ve been working out more often and trying to get more fit, so I’ve graduated from walking, then walking with running intervals, then running with walking intervals, and now full on running. Don’t get me wrong, running isn’t my favorite thing but I am trying to vary my workouts. I have discovered I enjoy lifting weights, so there’s that! Anyway….today’s mani is a thermal drag marble with KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue [gift] with Fancy Gloss Siren’s Lure [purchased myself].
KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue is a glowing blue nail polish with holographic micro flakes. This was an exclusive polish to one of the indie polish conventions, I think? I have a rubbish memory. >.< Anyway, Steph from Imperfectly Painted gifted it to me! Continue reading
