I was scrolling through my instagram feed the other day when I saw that a fellow makeup lover had posted pics of the Hot Topic Sanguis Draconis eyeshadow palette and highlighter she had bought, which reminded me that I hadn’t posted the pictures of swatches and makeup looks I had created with the eyeshadow palette. Let’s rectify that today, okay?
Let’s talk about this packaging because it is intense! I took these pictures in lower daylight and the colors just popped out. In the sunlight, it’s even more crazy! So A+ on packaging.
Glamour Doll Eyes Carbon Copy (inner corner)
Glamour Doll Eyes Sherbert (mid-lid)
Glamour Doll Eyes Vamp (outer lid)
Teeez Cosmetics Sweet Sins (outer corner over black)
Jordana Black Pearl Metallic in Riveting Red
I’ll be honest, I forgot to write down everything I’ve used! It’s been forever and a day since I last was able to share a makeup look with you. I really really really love the end result! Continue reading
Honestly, I didn’t even keep a product list of my makeup today. All I know for sure that I used is the Lorac Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales palette, Urban Decay Perversion mascara, and Jordana Sweet Cream Matte in Buttercream Frosting.
For the most part of my adult life, I’ve shied away from using blue eyeshadow because I didn’t want to look clownish (or worse, like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show). But I specifically bought the Lorac DMTNT palette for the cool blue-toned shades it had. After the 3rd or 4th time I’ve used this palette, guess it’s time I got around to using those shades! Sh*t, I really gotta get my act together and start paring down how wordy I am in my titles. Oh well.
I didn’t want to make a separate post just for two photos of my new sunglasses so you’re getting them at the end of this post. (I decided to make a separate post after all.) Andddddd I have swatches galore in this post so it is a bit longer of a post. I hope you’re okay with that. 😛
Anyway, I saw an eyeshadow look on instagram from abajmiller and wanted to try it out. Of course, mine didn’t come out near as gorgeous as hers but that’s the way it goes. I’ve used the Lorac Disney Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales palette again (I used it last week in my art deco makeup look). Continue reading
Happy Sunday all! I am seriously excited to show you today’s makeup look that I created with Glamour Doll Eyes eyeshadows so let’s just jump right to it. I’ve also used a few Wet N Wild products in this look – I’ll detail everything in this post. I have used a few products from GDE that I was provided with to use in makeup looks. I was inspired by this look from taniawallerx3.
Morning all! Continuing on my journey to be more adventurous in my makeup looks, I’ve been wanting to try out a golden eyebrow look for awhile. (I’ve done precisely one other colored eyebrow look, also with Glamour Doll Eyes eyeshadows.)
For today’s look, I’ve used GDE Cheapskate, 4th Date, Juicy Mango, and Bat Queen.
Morning everyone! Lately I’ve noticed that reviewing makeup notwithstanding, I’ve fallen into a rut with my makeup looks – I tend to play it safe with neutrals & browns or neutrals & purples. I mean, yeah, play to your strengths but I need to stretch myself a bit.
That’s how this makeup look with Glamour Doll Eyes Dreamboat and Cozy Sweater with Jesse’s Girl Sounds of the City eyeshadow palette came about. I’ve also used an untried lippie from Jordana, Cinnamon Toast from the Sweet Cream Matte line. Continue reading
