Hey everyone! I hope the weekend treated you well and you’re ready for the work week. Ours was a busy one and the week is shaping up to be crazy too. Today I have a fun mani to show you with ILNP Spring Bouquet, CrowsToes Nail Color Damned If You Do, nail gems from Crystal Parade, and using Polished Vino decals.
I started off with ILNP Spring Bouquet. This is a silvery holographic polish that has a greenish hue, and a purply shift.
Morning all! This week must be the week to show off some unicorn pee polishes considering I’ve already shown you Baroness X Fire Opal. How about some shimmery goodness with Illyrian Polish Space Oddity [gift] and ILNP The Magician [purchased myself] (which you’ve seen in Unicorn Pee comparison posts here and here).
Space Oddity is a blue polish with green teal shimmer and purple shift. It applied sheer and patchy – my mistake was that you need to let each coat dry thoroughly to avoid dragging and I didn’t do that. It does dry satin. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
Hi everyone! As you may have figured out from the title of today’s post, I have a pedicure to show you! I’ve used Daisy Sweet Romance [gift] with ILNP Juliette, along with nail gems from Crystal Parade’s nail art gold mix.
If you’re not a fan of pedicures, then don’t look beyond this point! Continue reading
Hey everyone! So last weekend, I did a comparison of ILNP The Magician to Baroness X Sir Cockicorn. While I had all my unicorn pee polishes out, I decided to do two massive comparison posts. Today’s post is going to compare Darling Diva Polish Ringer Goes Blonde, Baroness X Sir Cockicorn, ILNP The Magician, and Baroness X Fire Opal. Just to warn you, I have a lot of photos in today’s post!

Morning everyone! I worked on comparison posts this week with unicorn pee polishes – so called because the pigment used to make them is so rare. Today I have one of the newest on the market: ILNP The Magician to go up against a similar polish, Baroness X Sir Cockicorn [previously swatched].
Happy day to you all! I hope you had a great weekend. Today I have some nail polish swatches and layering to show you with SuperMoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain, ILNP Phoenix, and Bad Bitch Polish Dripping Icicles [press sample, previously swatched].
(Hey all, from here on out for a while, posts are scheduled ahead of time because Henry is here! If you want to see a picture, here ya go: https://www.instagram.com/p/BPTtw5KA5fb/ )
I started off with SuperMoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain, which I received in a swap with another blogger. This is a multi chrome polish that shifts from blue to purple to green. The green was much more alive & glowy in person.
Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! Who else is excited for 2016 to be over? I mean, it’s been a crazy year in the world, but I know that personally it was a pretty good year. But still, I’m ready for a new year and exciting things (like a baby, hopefully soon!). I decided to do some sparkly nails for NYE, based on a mani I saw by BreezytheNailPolishLover on Facebook. I’ve used ILNP I See You, ellagee My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights, CrowsToes Nail Color Maxxed Out, and China Glaze Golden Enchantment.
ILNP I See You is a creamy champagne holographic polish.
Formula is fairly sheer, but it has a really nice holo flame without top coat. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
I then used ellagee My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights for a half-moon manicure. This is one of my older indie polishes, and it still performs great! It is also the blackest holographic polish I own (I believe).
Over MSRTN, I first used CrowsToes Nail Color Maxxed Out in a waterfall pattern, then China Glaze Golden Enchantment (which is a clear base with holographic specks).
You can tell my half-moons changed. Well, I wasn’t happy with them so I tried to make them deeper and they ended up looking like cat heads. Sigh. I try to do one simple mani and they end up looking strange. LOL. Now that I’ve seen cat heads, I can’t stop seeing them, either!
Anyway, I hope you have a safe & fun New Year’s Eve – our crew will be at home celebrating. May 2017 hold nothing but the best for you & yours!
