Afternoon all! Just a quick post this afternoon with Fair Maiden Polish Afterglow. My kids get out of school early today and I’m hoping for a quick lunch and then go to the art museum!
Afterglow is a light lavender holographic nail polish with pink micro flakes.
This is 3 thin coats plus top coat. Formula was just perfect, really lovely.
Luckily for you, Afterglow is still available at FairMaidenPolish.com. I definitely think you should snatch this one up. 🙂
When’s the last time you went to a museum? What kind of museum was it?
Morning polish peeps! I have to admit to not really being a morning person, especially now that the baby is teething and we are trying to get him to sleep for longer. It’s made for some long nights, and sometimes I just want to pick a polish that’s soothing – polish like Fair Maiden Polish Secret Garden.
Secret Garden is a coppery rose-gold holographic nail polish with flecks of copper throughout.
This is 3 thin coats plus top coat. Formula was really nice on this, no complaints.
I believe I picked this one up from Color4Nails.com, as it is no longer available direct from FairMaidenPolish.com. What do you think of this beauty?
Happy Saturday to you, everyone! Another Fair Maiden Polish has made its way into my melmers and I have it to show you today: Colors of the Wind.
Colors of the Wind is described by the makers as a “medium dusty sky blue holo with slight gold shift sprinkled with subtle red sparkle and dark golden yellow micro flakes that shift to green.”
This is 2 coats plus top coat. Formula was a little thick and uneven. I do love pretty much everything about this polish though: the base color, the golden shimmer, and the holographicness.
Colors of the Wind is an addition to the Be Your Own Heroine collection at Fair Maiden Polish.
Jumping straight into today’s post, because Wednesday’s are my crazy days in this house. Fair Maiden Polish Bayou Dreamer is what I’m showing you today!
Bayou Dreamer is a beautiful light green with violet micro flakes and golden shimmer. This is 2 coats plus top coat.
You need to be careful with application on this polish, letting each coat dry thoroughly before applying your next coat, otherwise you’ll have dragging. Plus it also seemed a bit thicker than other polishes I have from FMP.
I do still love this polish, but it is something to be aware of if you’re interested in purchasing it! Bayou Dreamer is currently in stock at FairMaidenPolish.com.
Do you ever have one day that seems to be crazier than the rest?
Good morning everyone! Just an extremely quick post to show you what’s actually on my nails today.
I started off with 3 thin coats of Fair Maiden Polish Secret Garden on my pointer and pinky fingers, then used wavy vinyls and OPI Cajun Shrimp for some festive waves.
On my thumb and middle finger, I used 3 thin coats of Polish ‘M Home for the Holidays. *hubba hubba*
On my ring finger, I started with 2 thin coats of OPI Don’t Pretzel My Buttons. I used OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow for the tree, and picked out glitters from OPI Minnie Style and OPI The Living Daylights for the decorations. The tree reminds me of the tree from Christmas Vacation (favorite line: “Merry Christmas! Shitter’s full!).
I hope you are spending this holiday season enjoying yourself, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. 🙂
Good morning all! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve last shown you any Fair Maiden Polishes and that must be rectified immediately. I Wanna Do Bad Things With You is part of their Fright Night collection and it’s a doozy!
I Wanna Do Bad Things With You is a red-toned purple holographic nail polish with magenta sparkle. The macro here is more color accurate – I had the darndest time with that!
This is 2 coats plus top coat. I found the formula a bit thick (more so than I normally like) but I’m sure adding a bit of nail polish thinner would help with that.
I always enjoy at least a few polishes from Fair Maiden Polish when they have a new collection. My wallet doesn’t always allow me to buy them all, even if I want to! This was my must have from the Fright Night collection. As of this writing, it is still available at FairMaidenPolish.com.
Hey there! Are you looking forward to your day? It’s a Monday, so whomp whomp. LOL! Today I have a new-to-me nail art technique that I learned from Nichole at Bedlam Beauty: seriotype. Just a warning: I used all three Fair Maiden Hella Holo Custom polishes for this look, they are not available any longer. (Sorry!)
I started off with 2 coats of Fair Maiden Polish Lanikai Sunrise. Isn’t it pretty? 😉
I then used the other two FMP Hella Holo Customs, Aloha Nights and Lokelani to create the seriotype.
I need to practice a bit more because it was a little more subtle than I would have liked. Next time maybe I’ll use a creme polish or a glitter instead of all holos – or use one bold color instead of all muted colors.
Still, though, not bad for my first try, right? I’d like to know if you’ve ever tried this type of nail art and how it came out!
