I was so excited about this dL polish, it looks so stunning in the bottle! It’s got this grey/green shade going on that I personally love and in the bottle it looked like it might have a bit of holo shimmer. But sadly, that was not the case. I’m sure that if I had base coat on, the imperfections of my nails wouldn’t show so much, but it is a streaky formula.
Mid-way through April already? Holy cow!! I’m seriously not ready for that. Anyway, I picked up these two Deborah Lippmann polishes a looonnnng time ago and am now just getting around to showing them to you: It’s Raining Men and Rolling In The Deep; you just saw these this week underneath Baroness X Obsidian. (BTW, I hate posing with these kind of square bottles, my fingers hate it. Sorry for the weird poses. )
It’s Raining Men is a gorgeous cool blue-toned red polish. Formula was a little thin and sheer. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Rolling in the Deep is a pretty navy blue polish with very scattered sparkly specks. In the bottle there is also a red shimmer (glow?) but it ain’t on the nail, that’s for sure! Formula was thin. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Though It’s Raining Men was thin and sheer, it’s still the one I’m keeping. It’s just a gorgeous red! What do you think?
