Holy buckets, can you believe we are halfway through June already? Dayum! Some days I’m kind of in a fog, walking around like a zombie. I’ll blame the children – they wake me up so dang early! Anyway…how about some Daisy nail polish to show you: Purple Pride, Gulf Stream, and Forgotten Pink. These were sent to me years ago by the wonderful Michelle over at ManicTalons!
Purple Pride (and I’d like to apologize in advance for the color of my fingers!) is a bright punk (purple-pink?) creme polish. Formula is thin and sheer but it was fairly well at self-leveling. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Gulf Stream is a bright turquoise creme polish. It is brighter in real life. Formula was so floody but it was okay at self-leveling. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Forgotten Pink is a slightly pink-tinted base glitter with pink, blue, and iridescent glitters. Formula was thick; it dries gritty. This is 1 coat over Purple Pride plus top coat.
Forgotten Pink is my favorite here, it was rather eye-catching in person!
Hi everyone! As you may have figured out from the title of today’s post, I have a pedicure to show you! I’ve used Daisy Sweet Romance [gift] with ILNP Juliette, along with nail gems from Crystal Parade’s nail art gold mix.
If you’re not a fan of pedicures, then don’t look beyond this point! Continue reading
Morning all! I’ve been trying really hard to get some photos edited and posts typed up, but obviously you can see how well that went. But I made it for today! I’m back with my Pick Three Polishes series where I randomly pick three untried polishes out of my stash, swatch them and then attempt to make nail art with them. For today’s post I’ve used Daisy Island Oasis (a gift from Michelle at Manic Talons!), Formula X Voodoo, and ILNP Home Sweet Home.
Daisy (brand name) Island Oasis is a beautiful bright teal green. It isn’t as bright as my photos show, but I took about 50 pictures and gave up trying to get color accuracy, tbh. LOL. 😀 This is 2 coats plus top coat but it’s almost a OCW.
Formula X Voodoo is a metallic pink holographic polish. The holographic effect is more noticeable in real life, even inside. Continue reading
Good morning all! Are you glad it’s the weekend? I know I am, though I don’t really have anything going on besides doing laundry (yay), and trying to shop for a pair of jeans. I realized the other day that I have exactly 2 pair of jeans that fit well and only 1 pair that looks nice. I hate shopping too, so we’ll see how this goes!
Anyway, I have a manicure today that was *almost* my birthday nails, but I decided that I didn’t like it. (If you missed my birthday nails, check it out!)
I used OPI Sorry I’m Fizzy Today (pink), OPI We’ll Always Have Paris (wine red), Daisy Island Oasis (teal green), and Jessica Sharktooth (white). I don’t know what’s going on with my middle finger, but it didn’t turn out the way I was envisioning it in my head. What do you think?
Well, I’m off to take my kids to bowling and then go shopping. Tell me, do you like to shop? Or not?

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good Friday. I just got back from a local spray park with my kids and we’re all tuckered out. With that, let’s jump into today’s prompt for the OMD2 Nail Art Challenge: dotticure!
Some of you may know this already, but dotticure is probably my favorite kind of manicure to do. I just love how it looks! For today, I used two polishes that were a gift from the very lovely Michelle from ManicTalons.com: Daisy “Island Oasis” and Daisy “Bright Maroon”. I know that Daisy makes gel polish but not sure if you can buy the regular nail polish also. If the gel line is anything like the regular polish line, it must be good because these two had great formula!
I started off with two coats of Island Oasis on my pointer and pinky fingers, and Bright Maroon on my middle and ring fingers. I then dotted Island Oasis on my middle and ring fingers and added a circular stud to my pointer and pinky fingers. Unfortunately, my camera didn’t like to accurately portray Island Oasis, it is much brighter and green than my pictures show.
I’d love to know what you think of my dotticure! You can also check out the rest of today’s entries by clicking here. Until tomorrow,
