Good afternoon everyone! I have four Color Club polishes that I picked up from llarowe awhile back to show you today: La Petite Mint-Sieur, Holy Chic!, Ultra Violet, and Bell Bottom Babe.
*Programming Note* I had quite a few polishes I wasn’t able to show you in 2015, so I’ll be trying to get those posted over the next couple of weeks.
La Petite Mint-Sieur is a pretty minty green jelly polish. My photos show it a bit warmer than it is. This is 2 coats, no top coat:
Holy Chic! is such a beautiful icy blue polish. I can’t get enough of this color. This is 2 coats, no top coat:
Ultra Violet is an awesome pink polish with blue-green shimmer. Lurrrrve this color! This is 2 coats, with Serum No 5 top coat:
Bell Bottom Babe is a great blurple polish with purple shimmer. It isn’t my favorite, but it is still pretty! This is 2 coats, with Serum No 5 top coat:
Overall, I’m glad I picked these four up, and I believe all four are still available for purchase through llarowe.com. Which of these four is your favorite?
I’ll be honest, I can’t wait until vacation is over and the kids go back to school, I’ve kind of ran out of things for them to do. Any ideas?
Hi everyone! It’s the season for fun glittery polishes and I have four sparkly ones from Color Club to show you. Click through after the collage to see the 4 twinkly shades up close:
Good morning everyone! 🙂 I hope you are ready for the weekend! Today I have a fun new-to-me technique to show you: needle drag.Well, it’s not really a needle drag because I used a long skinny striper brush. So it’s a striper brush drag? haha!
I’ve started off with 1 thick coat of Color Club Silver Lake (a light grey-ish color). Then using Color Club Revvvolution (black holo), Twiggie (bright mint green), and Eternal Beauty (purple holo), each with a stripe down the nail, I then used the striper brush to swirl the colors into each other.
I loved this so much, I did this on all my nails and wore it for a few days. The only bad part was that the black kind of lost its holo-ness but it was still a bit sparkly!
Well, we have a busy weekend ahead for ourselves, what do your plans look like?
Good morning my amazing readers! 🙂 It’s a gorgeous Saturday morning and I hope you are ready to take on the world! Today I have a nail of the day to show you, and I must admit, it’s one of my top favorite polish combinations of the entire year!
I’ve started out with 2 coats of Color Club Winter Affair. This is a blackened berry polish with pink shimmers:
I then used 1 coat of the polish everyone’s losing their *ahem* over: the original formula of The Uptown:
I liked this manicure, but it wasn’t quite done. I decided to use 1 coat of Si Vous Please! over the top and this was me:
Yeah, I was feeling it, alright! Here are some inside shots:
And outside in the sun:
Yeah buddy! Are you feeling it like I was feeling it? I have to admit, it sort of knocked me for a loop! My pictures don’t even do this justice either, as The Uptown created a beautiful color-changing element to this manicure that I could not capture on camera.
I’d love to know what you’re up to this weekend! Are you lounging around, or you trying to get stuff down before winter comes (like me)?
Good morning lovely readers! It’s Friday and the weekend, and for many of you, that might mean it’s date night. I see a lot of people on Facebook, twitter, and elsewhere asking about what to do on their nails for their date night, so I thought I would share with you two outfits and 3 manicures I’ve done for each outfit.

As college gets closer and closer, I thought now would be a good time to go through what, in my opinion, the average college student needs to have (and keep) great nails during school. If you are a college student, or you have one in your life, you’re definitely going to need to read through this post! (Click any photo to enlarge it throughout this post.)
Good morning my wonderful readers! It’s the last day of the OMD2 Nail Art Challenge, can you believe it? I just can’t believe that I’ve made it through – WOOHOO! (That’s actually my husband saying that! 😛 ) Today’s prompt was “your signature style” and at first I was stymied – do I have a signature style?! LOL. But then I thought, you know what? I think my signature style is quirky and (sometimes) complicated. After all, I did Calvin & Hobbes snowmen as part of a Christmas challenge, and nail art based off of a Ke$ha music video, and the Great Pumpkin – and a whole host of other complicated but quirky designs.
So I’ve decided to go for Phineas & Ferb! I love this show (and the music) and my kids do too.
I’ve used so many nail polishes for this art that I’m not even going to name them. I think I ended up using 12? Anyway, it’s a lot! Here are close-ups of each character.
I hope you like my nail art for today! I absolutely adore it, even though I was up until 1 a.m. this morning finishing it. 🙂 Which nail is your favorite? Mine has to be Perry – he came out perfectly (to me at least)! Don’t forget to check out all the rest of the manicures for today by clicking through to the link-up. Later today, I’ll have a wrap-up of all the manicures so if you’re interested, I’ll see you then!
