Hi everyone! Kind of a late in the day post, I know. But I wanted to share with you my nails that I wore today for Henry’s baptism and my makeup. Life update at the end of this post!
I wanted something delicate since my outfit was kind of loud. LOL. I started with 3 coats of Sinful Colors Just Deserts from the Stoned Crystal Shimmer collection. It is slightly more pink in real life. (I’m really hoping to get swatches done of this collection this week, btw.) Then I added an iridescent glitter stud to the nails with Just Deserts on them. Happy morning to you! I’m sitting down writing this blog post as I’m actually wearing this makeup look (sometimes I take pictures then write days or weeks afterwards) so my thoughts are fresh(ish) in my mind. For today’s makeup I’ve used Jesse’s Girl Sounds of the City eyeshadow palette, Jesse’s Girl Matte Finish Lip Color in Sultry, Jesse’s Girl liquid eyeliner in black. (P.S. Baby has still not shown up yet, but I’m ever hopeful!)
Jesse’s Girl Sounds of the City is a neutral 10 eyeshadow palette Continue reading

Phew! Let’s take a look at these products before I show you the makeup look I created with them. Continue reading
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you aren’t too tuckered out from celebrations last night. 😉 Today I thought I’d show you another makeup look with Wet N Wild, this time using the limited edition Plaid to the Bone eyeshadow palette and Liquid Catsuit in Rebel Rose. (Have you checked out last week’s makeup look with the Velour Vixen eyeshadow palette?)
Plaid to the Bone has three eyeshadows in this palette for brow bone (top), crease (middle), and eyelid (bottom).
The brow bone color is a buttery gold color, it does have quite a bit of fall out. The crease color is a dry navy blue, it does not blend very easily. The eyelid color is a brown-red base with teal shimmer, it applies very nicely. Continue reading
Happy Saturday to you! I thought that I’d show you this makeup look in case you need something dramatic for Christmas Eve Or New Year’s Eve shenanigans. 😉 I used a limited edition palette from Wet N Wild called Velour Vixen to create this look along with Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit Video Vixen.
Velour Vixen has three eyeshadows: for brow bone, crease, and eyelid.
The brow bone color is a nice warm cream color. It is a bit powdery. The crease is a slightly shimmery red color, that blends nicely. The eyelid is a black with red sparkle color; the sparkle is not too apparent on the lid, though I caught glimpses of it. Continue reading
Hi everyone! I have another makeup look to show you, today with eyeshadows from Glamour Doll Eyes: Lovers Lane, Organized Vanity, and Chasing Ghouls.
Chasing Ghouls is a warm white with golden shimmer eyeshadow.
Organized Vanity is a warm gingerbread eyeshadow with blue and purple sparkles.
Lovers Lane is a red velvety eyeshadow with golden shimmer that blends out to a burnt red-brown.
From top to bottom: Chasing Ghouls, Organized Vanity, Lovers Lane
I used Organized Vanity with Glamour Doll Eyes Foil Me on the lid, then packed more on top of that. In the crease and outer vee, I used Lovers Lane. I also used Lovers Lane over a black eyeliner on my bottom lash line. In the inner corner and brow bone, I used Chasing Ghouls.
My apologies for the poor state of my eyebrows! I just had my eyebrow appointment last week and this makeup look is from two weeks ago. My poor brows. LOL.
I loved how Lovers Lane really amped up this neutral look – I’d love to know what you think!
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. 🙂 I thought I’d show you a makeup look I did a few weeks back with Delete, Bitter, and Flame from the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette.
Bitter is a burnt orange matte shadow.
Flame is a sparkly orange-pink shadow.
Delete is a dark taupe brown matte eyeshadow.
Here are arm swatches of all three shades: Bitter, Flame, Delete.
I used Bitter on the lid, Delete in the crease and outer vee, and Flame on the inner corner.
For my lippie, I used ColourPop in Mess Around.
I liked this neutral take on my makeup look – I think it looks very flattering with my red hair! What do you think?
