Good morning out there, my wonderful readers! I hope you’re having a good weekend so far. Today I have a quick swatch of butter LONDON Jaded Jack to show you, along with the weekly Beauty Blog Coalition roundup.
Jaded Jack is a lime green nail polish that I’ve been searching for – and finally found it at TJMaxx for $3.99! I love good deals like that.
This sun shot is more color accurate to how bright it is in real life. Mmmm, a scrumptious green!
Let’s check out what BBC members had going on this week:
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you tomorrow!
Good afternoon everyone! I have a quick swatch of Pahlish’s The White Tree for you, along with the Beauty Blog Coalition’s weekly roundup of links.
Pahlish The White Tree is a Game of Thrones inspired polish (I guess? Don’t stone me but I don’t watch GoT). It’s a white base polish with flecks of dark grey. This is 3 thin coats with top coat.
Now let’s check out the BBC links:
Good afternoon everyone! I have a quick swatch of KBShimmer Funky Cold Patina for you, as well as the weekly links from Beauty Blog Coalition members. 🙂
Funky Cold Patina is described as “cool turquoise green base, with pops of metallic copper, blue and purple.” I’ve used 3 coats here, with 1 coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food to smooth it out and for a nice matte finish.
I then used a coat of Digital Nails Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That for a shiny finish. *ahem* My inside shot of FCP didn’t turn out, only my macro did. (Silly camera settings!)
This is definitely a new favorite from KBShimmer (and it’s still available!).
Alright, let’s get to the weekly roundup! Be sure to stop by these blogs and say hi!
Good morning, my spooky readers! We’re inching closer and closer to Halloween and next week I’ll have even more Halloween manis to show you! Today, though, the Hobby Polish Bloggers group decided to get together for a Halloween mani link-up! The HPB is a group for bloggers who blog casually or for fun. It’s a great resource for those who are just starting out, or for those of us who have been doing this awhile. As a group, we’ll be doing a monthly link-up and today is our first one: Halloween!
So I was trying to get inspired for this and I came across one of those skull cameos on etsy (here’s one but they’re all over the place). Anyway, I thought I would try my hand at it.
I’ve used Jessica Sharktooth (white), Desire (red), Sunset Blvd (black), and Argon Blue. I was going to do a brocade-ish design on my pinky but kept messing it up, so I went with a saran wrap technique instead. Also, did you know that doing a skeleton in profile is FREAKING HARD?! LOL 😛 It totally didn’t come out how I wanted but oh well!
If you want to check out everyone else’s manicure, be sure to click the blue frog below:
I’d love to know what you think of my manicure today! Fail or not?
Good afternoon! I’m here with another installment of the BBC members weekly roundup, so be sure to check out all these great links:
Hey everyone! I hope your weekend has gone smoothly! Apologies for not getting the BBC roundup up last Sunday, I admit that I just kind of spaced out! LOL. 🙂 Check out all the wonderful ladies and what they had on their blogs this past week:
