Good morning! I hope you had a fun Valentine’s Day, whatever you ended up doing. 🙂 Today is Anti-Valentine’s Day prompt for nail art, so let’s check out what I ended up with!
I started with OPI Black Onyx on all fingers except my ring finger, which started out with OPI Alpine Snow. Using OPI Manicurist of Seville and saran wrap, I went for a grungy look on all fingers except my ring finger. I guess my grungy look was too subtle though. LOL. On my ring finger, I used Black Onyx and saran wrap, then outlined a broken heart and filled it in with Manicurist of Seville and Black Onyx swirled with a nail art brush.
Well, not my best work, but that’s okay! Check out more work below:
I’d love to know what you think, so leave a comment if you feel like it! 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day, my LOVE-ly readers. 🙂 Whether you celebrate this day or not or are just kinda “meh” about it (that’s me & my husband), I hope you are going to have a great day anyway.
Today I have a simple and sweet manicure. I started off with 2 coats of OPI Sorry I’m Fizzy Today, and placed Born Pretty Store hearts (press sample) on top. This is a variation of my pedicure that I have on right now, and while I like it for my toes, I wasn’t too keen on keeping it for my manicure.

Any plans today? I hope to see you here tomorrow for “Anti-Valentine’s Day” prompt!
Good morning everyone! Ever since I saw the outfit that Kerry Washington was wearing over on Makeup by Kim Porter’s Facebook page, I just knew I had to recreate it, and what a better time than today’s prompt?
I started off with 3 coats of Wet N Wild’s A Blank Canvas on on my fingers. I used WnW Black Creme for the dots and letters and Red Red for the heart. I absolutely love how this turned out and I hated taking it off. Plus, this is fairly simple to do if you have a larger dotting tool and a thin nail art brush. Heck, you could even skip the lettering and just do hearts!
Let’s check out more love letter manicures:
What do you think of this look? Too simple for you, or just right?
I love the color GREEN right now! It’s so weird to say that because usually I’m drawn to blues and vampy colors, but I think I’m so longing for spring that I’m subconsciously drawn to buy all the green polishes. Seriously, I think on my polish table, I have about 10-15 greens in all shades. LOL!
First example is KBShimmer Daisy About You, which I just picked up last week. This is three thin coats. It has such a beautiful cool green base, with purple, lime green, and white glitters of various sizes, and flowers (I think I only ended up with one or two flowers on my nails.
I then used Lilypad Lacquer Lime in a gradient with Daisy About You (you may remember the water marble nail art I created with Lilypad Lacquer). I absolutely adore how these two go together! Check out some more favorite colors:
I feel like I should have saved this one for St. Patrick’s Day, but I guess you can’t help what the heart loves, right? 😛
I want to take a moment and thank all of you for your comments lately. Though I haven’t been able to sit and respond right now, I do cherish and read every single one. And when I’m feeling on the up-and-up, I’ll be sure to respond!
Good almost-afternoon, readers! I hope you are doing well. The Challenge Your Nail Art group is doing a nail art challenge for February called Love Is In the Air and I’m trying to do a few of the prompts, despite not feeling well. Today’s prompt is “nail art technique I love” and how could I not do a dotticure?
I started off with 2 coats of OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu, and used L’Oreal Hot Couture (gift) for my heart and dots. I then used one more thin coat of Don’t Touch My Tutu on top.
I love this sweet look, and I hope you do too! Be sure to check out the rest of the looks for today by clicking below:
Tomorrow’s prompt is “I Love the Color…”, any guesses as to what my favorite color is right now?
