I’ve been meaning to get around to showing you these photos for awhile and I just decided to buckle down and get blog posts written up. Anyway, I found two of the Wet n Wild Zodiac lip glosses at Walmart and decided to try them out. Usually lip glosses are a huge no for me but I elected to go outside of my usual makeup box. Let’s get to product photos and swatches!
Cancer was really outside of my normal comfort zone! I mean, this is sheer and pearlescent. What am I gonna do with that?? 😀
Capricorn is much more my usual speed. It’s kinda sparkly but it’s got a duochrome thing going on.
Both of these actually aren’t like most lip glosses that I hate. I don’t find them sticky at all. I don’t think arm swatches can adequately convey how pretty both these lip glosses are, so of course, let’s look at lip swatches.
Wet N Wild coloricon Lip Gloss Cancer over Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit Shady Witch
Okay, excusing the horrible lip photo, this was one of my favorite combos. It really shows off how beautiful Cancer can be. (Makeup look previously seen in the Hot Topic Beetlejuice Handbook for the Recently Deceased blog post.)
Wet N Wild coloricon Lip Gloss Cancer over Bewitched and Purple Panic
I wanted to see how Cancer would tone down or brighten up an already bright lippie. It isn’t my favorite combo, really.
Wet N Wild coloricon Lip Gloss Cancer over Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit Emerald Envy
Love how well these two colors paired together. If I do say so myself, this is one of my favorite lip swatch photos ever. It just came out so nicely!
Wet N Wild coloricon gloss capricorn
I love, love, love this lip gloss. I have used it so often and over a huge variety of lippies. Even by itself, it’s just gorgeous! I should have bought a backup.
Wet N Wild coloricon gloss capricorn over MegaSlicks Lip Balm 2 am Call Time
The second lip photo is actually after the first had faded and I had reapplied Capricorn. Also, damn cats getting their hairs everywhere. 😛
I have more makeup posts to come, just have to get them sorted out and you’ll be seeing them soon!
