Polishes used:
1 coat of base
L.A. Colors 406 Hot Blooded, 2 coats plus top coat. A creamy “Hot Tamale” red that covers better than I expected and self-leveled nicely.
Tonic Polish Becoming, 2 coats plus top coat. This is a magnetic multichrome polish with a dark blue base that shifts purple to green when magnet is applied. It also has red-orange flakes that shift green. Application was a breeze and formula was wonderful.
1 coat of Dreamland Lacquer Ooh Shiny QDTC
This is my current mani and while I like it, it didn’t turn out like I expected. I think the red dried darker than I expected so it doesn’t pack the punch against Becoming like I wanted. It’s still a glorious manicure, which is why I took a lot of photos. 😛
I gotta tell you, it’s been a rough week. I haven’t left the house since last week and I’ve had several panic attacks. Kind of stinks when I have several errands to run and I would like to go polish hunting. I know there’s several new polishes from Color Club and Sinful Colors but I don’t dare send my husband! 😀
On a different note, what are you thinking of my photos currently? I don’t have my lights set up, so I’m having to use natural diffused light and sunlight. I’m trying hard but reading things online about the high expectations some people have for bloggers makes me feel a little demoralized about my nails and about my photos. Which contributes to my anxiety, I gotta tell you. Ugh.
