Lacquester Mortal Coil nail polish swatch + review

Purchased by Me buttonPolishes used:
Lacquester Mortal Coil, 3 coats and top coat. [Purchased from Color4Nails.] This has a really good formula, a bit more sheer than I expected. The brush is weird to me, kind of…stubby? It was just unexpected.

I guess I was a little disappointed in this polish. Like, I’ve seen so many swatches of it, that I kind of built it up in my head that it was this super amazing polish but when I put it on, I was kind of like “meh”. It’s so strange because it is a beautiful polish and super shifty! I found it most striking in sunshine, then I was like “woah”.

  1. Ahhh…this is a gorgeous polish. I’ll check to see if it’s still in stock for my next purchase. It’s beautiful! You know, I recently tried Lacquester for the first time an the brush was just as you described, but I loved the control it gave me.

  2. Yeah, I sorta felt the same way about One More Green – when I painted it on, the brush was so… just nope… that it put me in a less than charitable frame of mind about it. A day or 2 later, I realized how gorgeous it really was, but that brush… NOPE.
