Polishes used:
Tonic Polish Queen, 3 coats
Dreamland Lacquer Ooh Shiny, 1 coat
Somedays, there is just no better cure for the blues than applying a pretty polish. This is definitely one of those polishes where swatchers sold me on it, especially @mommyrichietoo, Cosmetic Sanctuary, and @artofpolish. I hope I did as well as they did at capturing the beauty of this polish – which btw is still in stock so you should go buy it!
Queen is described as a “green-indigo shifting Unicorn Pee sister pigment with pink-gold-green shifting multichrome magnetic pigment.” I’ve been watching a helluva lot of magnetic tutorials from Russian bloggers and kombucha_witch_ has quite a few that I’ve saved. This one in particular (the first part of the video) I tried with this polish and I think it turned out quite well.
I know that the listing says this is best over a base color, but I had no troubles with the 3 coats I applied. Though I might try it over a colored dark base…*think think think*. I could see the shifting colors without even trying!
Staaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhp tempting me. I have avoided buying any Tonics for a couple of months. I am kind of saving up for May PPU. Dang this is gorgeous. It looks beautiful on you. I hope you feel better soon.
I have been having so much fun with the Tonics I bought. May PPU is gonna be trouble again for me too!
