Polishes used:
Sinful Colors Acapella Ella, 1 coat as a base
Sinful Colors Coco Bae [previously used in tiger stripe manicure]
Sinful Colors Sucker Punch
Sinful Colors Forbitten Fruit
Sinful Colors Cosmotion
I saw this tutorial on instagram from nail_muse and decided to try it out for a spring manicure! It turned out even better than I imagined, I really love it. I only wish that Cosmotion would have been easier to get the glitters out of the bottle, but as it were it did add some beautiful shimmer. I also have swatches of each individual polishes after the nail art.
Sinful Colors Acapella Ella, 2 coats and no top coat. This had good formula and self-leveled nicely. This is such a crisp and beautiful color.
Sinful Colors Coco Bae, 3 coats and no top coat. This was sheer and formula was runny. Plus I did not like how it made my hands look!
Sinful Colors Sucker Punch, 2 coats and no top coat. The formula was runny but it dries quickly. Let each coat dry to prevent dragging!
Sinful Colors Forbitten Fruit, 1 coat and no top coat! The formula was thick, but in a good way. I should have done 2 coats, but oh well. Shimmer is definitely not as visible on the nail as it is in the bottle, but I think it adds warmth to the polish base.
Sinful Colors Cosmotion over Coco Bae, 1 coat and no top coat.
Sinful Colors Cosmotion over Acapella Ella, 1 coat and no top coat. Once again, Sinful Colors glitters disappoint. I just can’t even with this.
This turned out really pretty and perfect for spring!
Thank you! As it’s snowing today, spring is on my mind constantly!
That marble mani is gorgeous!!
Thank you so much! I was so loathe to take it off.
This is utterly gorgeous! Water marbling isn’t my thing, but I think I could make this work just fine!
Thank you Michelle! I really enjoyed doing this.
You killed the marble mani! It looks so good and the colors go really well together. You’re definitely inspiring me to do more nail art! I just nubbed my nails and did enough swatching for 2 weeks so it will have to wait.
Thank you! I hope to see more nail art from you!
