makeup for redheads with Urban Decay Hatter, Saucebox Cosmetics Jade | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Hey everyone! I haven’t shown off a makeup look on the blog in forever (I usually just show them on my instagram) but since I have a second, I thought I’d type something up real quick. I’m in full-on spring fever mode and today I wore a sunny yellow top and was feeling a spring green for eyes. I picked up 3 new foundations to try out, one of which was the L.A. Girl Pro.coverage in Porcelain. I think it’s a good match! I’ve also picked up the new Wet N Wild Mega-cushion foundation and I think I like it. Let me know if you’d like to see a makeup look with that. Okay, holy smokes this is long already so enough chit-chat.

For my eyeshadow look, I started out with Saucebox Cosmetics Jade in the outer corner into the crease, blended out. Then I used Nyx Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk on the lid and used Urban Decay Cosmetics Hatter on top of that. It was a bit too green, so I very lightly put Urban Decay Looking Glass on top. I used Saucebox Biscotti under my brow. Lastly, I used Urban Decay Lily in the brow arch and on the inner corner.

I’ve lined my waterline with Revlon Photo-Ready Kajal, and my regular eyeliner is Jesse’s Girl Liquid Eyeliner in black. Let’s not get into my right eye, which came out horribly! Ugh. Mascara is Urban Decay Perversion, which yes I know, flaked onto my lid. <_<

I didn’t do much with my eyebrows because I just got them waxed and dyed, I just lightly penciled them in with It’s Skin Babyface natural eyebrow and set with e.l.f. brow gel.

I also picked up a new highlighter, Wet N Wild Mega-glo Hello Halo in Guilded Glow. I quite like the Hello Halo highlighters! (I have another one, the name of which is escaping me right now.) I paired it with Wet N Wild Mega-glo Cheek & Lip Tint in Flirt in the Streets and Fenty Beauty contour stick in Cocoa. Is that what those are called? Contour sticks? I’m not sure and right now I’m being too lazy to look it up.

Lastly, I dusted my cheeks with Wet N Wild Mega-glo Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink, then finished off with Skin79 Hologram Pearl Pact. For my lips, I used Too Faced Melted Nude with Jordana Sweet Cream Matte in Cinnamon Toast around the edges.

I tried out a different pose here and I can’t decide if it looks artsy and I like it, or if it looks like I’m smiling/sniffing my armpit! 😀 What do you think?

Okay, I’m all talked out so Imma shut up now. Let me know what you think and if you want to start seeing makeup looks again!

  1. I love seeing make up posts. You have such beautiful skin. Lately I have been struggling with my skin and I hate it so much. It’s so dry and I keep getting small breakouts. I’ve tried so many products and nothing works. I think I need to work on eating healthy and maybe that will help. The green eye shadow really makes your eyes pop.

    • I’ve switched a lot of my products to Korean skin care and I’m seeing a lot of difference. That and drinking more water is helping a ton. I hope you can find something that works!
