So, I’ll be honest, I can’t find my notes on this mani for the life of me. Logically, they should be in my nail notebook that I write all manis and swatches down in, but it’s not. And I’ve looked multiple times. I guess I’m just winging it today. 🙂
Now I know I’m not the first to do a flame drag marble manicure, and I’m sure I’m not the first to do a flame drag marble manicure with a thermal polish. I’ve seen multiple people who have done much better manis than me do these techniques.
With that out of the way, I’ve used Polish ‘M The Haunted Mask with Fancy Gloss Calypso’s Curse for this manicure. Calypso’s Curse is a purple (cold) to minty green (warm) thermal polish with a pink tinge. The Haunted Mask is a blue to green to purple multichrome polish with glitters and flakies.
I started off with one coat of The Haunted Mask, which I let dry. Then I painted another thicker coat of The Haunted Mask, then just the tips with Calypso’s Curse, dragging my nail art brush up through The Haunted Mask.
I freaking loved this mani and I should have shown it off sooner! My flames could use a little work, but I ain’t mad. 😛
Really neat design with the thermal polish.
