Hey everyone! I hope your week is swimming along. So far I’ve avoided getting the cold that everyone else here has (knock on wood), but otherwise it’s been kind of a crappy week. Which is why I thought I could cheer myself up with a new mani. I spied Don Deeva Varnish Notorious P.E.E. sitting on my desk unused so I thought I’d try it on.
Notorious P.E.E. is a polish that was made for the Rainbows and Unicorn group on Facebook. It is a blue to purple thermal polish with the unicorn pee pigment and silver holo specks. I thought it was so cool that the first photo above was just after I finished my mani and just my ring finger was warm!
Formula was a bit thick, but it wasn’t like horrid or anything. It went on well, but I think it didn’t like my base coat because it went on a bit weird. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
So I was just gonna leave it plain but then I thought, “Self, let’s jazz this up a bit.” I saw these water slide decals I had from KBShimmer, so I tried it out. Why didn’t I just leave well enough alone? Ugh. I feel like finding the “You tried” gif and inserting it here (but I won’t because I’m lazy). The design is just too tightly packed and doesn’t allow the polish to show through very well.
I’m gonna keep it on at least a day before changing it out because I’ve got a full day today and no time to do a new mani. What do you think?
The manicure looks great! That polish is really lovely.
