KBShimmer Got It Sandaled + Alchemy Lacquers Sweethearts manicure

Hello everyone! Today I have a simple manicure with KBShimmer Got It Sandaled [gift] and Alchemy Lacquers Sweethearts [purchased myself].

KBShimmer Got It Sandaled is a blurple polish with pink shimmer. This is 2 coats plus top coat. Unfortunately, this polish is a miss for me. The formula was difficult – it was thick but applied patchy which consequently made it hard to get even. Plus it was a bit stinky (but I chalk that up to probably a pigment in the polish – which happens with this color). I really hate to say something bad about KBShimmer – they are literally one of my favorite brands because they are so consistent!

Alchemy Lacquers Sweethearts is a topper with color shifting glitters and flakes and a touch of a holo! So how I applied this was I painted one coat on, then sponged on another coat then applied top coat. I was hoping this would avoid the problem of applying too many coats to get full coverage but I didn’t quite make it. No complaints about formula here (only complaint is I’m a dummy when it came to application! 😛 ).

Even though I was disappointed by Got It Sandaled, I still like the look of the overall manicure. What do you think?
