Morning all! Okay, up front – there’s toes at the end of this post (I hope the word “pedicure” in the title gave you a hint!) so if you don’t wanna look at my feet, don’t read to the end. 😛 😉 For once though, my manicure and pedicure were playing matchy-matchy and I wanted to show them both off!
I started off with KBShimmer Such a Vlad-Ass, which is a wine red creme polish. Formula is good, a little thin. It is a stainer! This is 2 coats plus top coat.
On my ring finger, I used KBShimmer Haute Mess, a clear based topper simply packed with bronze, silver, and holographic glitters. I sponged this on, but it took a coat of matte top coat, then two more coats of regular top coat to get it semi-smooth.
I then scrummaged around in my nail art drawers and found a packet of loose glitter from KBShimmer that said “Celebration of Spring mix”. It had a bunch of different sizes and colors of circular glitter but I used the gold (obviously).
What’s funny about this matching set is that I had done my pedicure first then liked it so much I wanted to do something similar for my manicure.
This time I used Such a Vlad-Ass on each toe, then used the gold circular glitter. I absolutely loved the way the glitter flashed, even in low light – in fact I purposely took this pedicure picture in low light so you could see the flashiness!
Okay, I hope I didn’t scar you or scare you away permanently with a photo of my feet! Let me know what you think of the mani & pedi though!
Great nails and pedicure!
