Good afternoon all! I have such a pretty collection from Sinful Colors to show you today called the Bayou Babes collection. This includes I Ain’t Jamalayan, Bayou Bae, Flambeaux Pink, Blue Bayou, and Nola Way. Read on for my thoughts! (P.S. And check out my giveaway post!)
2226 I Ain’t Jambalayan is a beautiful orangey pink with gold shimmers. Formula was kind of sheer but had a good consistency and it self-leveled. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
2229 Bayou Bae is a royal purple with pink shimmer (apologies for the oompa loompa hands!). Formula was thin and sheer; application was uneven. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
2231 Flambeaux Pink is a bright magenta with pink flake shimmer. Formula was thin and sheer but it did self-level well. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
2232 Blue Bayou is a bright blue with blue shimmers that also turns purple at the edges. Formula was thin and sheer; application was uneven. This also might stain your nails! This is 2 coats and no top coat.
2233 Nola Way is (to me) a clear-based tightly packed gold shimmer polish. I don’t think you could use this as a topper though. Formula was sheer but it had a good consistency. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
I love love LOVE I Ain’t Jambalayan – it is so freaking gorgeous. But surprisingly, I also really love Nola Way, which I didn’t think I would. What are your picks from this collection?
