Hi there, wonderful readers! Today I have two separate nail polish duos to show you from Pahlish: the March and August 2016. I ended up using the creme from March with the glitter from August and vice versa. Let’s see how they turned out!
Loftiest Muse (March 2016) is a light robin’s egg blue creme polish. (You might remember this from this nail art manicure.) Formula on this wasn’t the greatest. It was sheer, uneven, and doesn’t self-level. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Golden Egg (August 2016) is a clear based polish with flakes of gold and blue, and small iridescent hex glitters.
Application on this was uneven and the bigger flakes were hard to get. This is 1 coat plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.
Ponder This (August 2016) is a bright cobalt blue creme polish. Formula was thin and stinky; it does dry matte. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Wild Air (March 2016) is a clear based polish with white, light blue, and silver glitters and iridescent flakes.
Formula had a thick base so it was hard to get the glitters on the nail evenly; it does dry satin. This is 1 coat plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.
The glitters are my favorite here but I also really like Ponder This. I guess the odd man out is Loftiest Muse! Which pairing do you like?
Some nice swatches here.
