Morning everyone! I have more Sinful Colors polishes to show you today, this time from the Lucky of the Stylish collection: 2008 Gilded Goddess (repromote), 2204 Works Like a Charm, 2205 Queen of Green, and 2206 I’m Clover It.
(not pictured: I’m Clover It; mainly because I forgot I bought it when I took this picture.)
Gilded Goddess is a sheer yellow gold shimmer polish with pink and gold bits. Formula was thin and application was uneven. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Works Like a Charm is a warm minty green with gold bits. Formula was sheer and application was uneven. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Queen of Green is a warm dark green shot through with brighter green and gold bits. Formula was more sheer than I expected it would be on the first coat, but it was otherwise good. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
I’m Clover It is a clear based glitter topper with Oh my gosh. I wanted to like this, I really did. But I had to fish like hell for those big clovers AND the little glitters. Ugh. This is TWO coats and no top coat over Works Like a Charm.
No surprise that I hate the glitter – I love that SC takes chances with glitter toppers but my God, could they please get the suspension base better?? Okay, but anyway, I do love Queen of Green, it is simply spectacular. I also surprisingly like Gilded Goddess, it’s those pink bits that really make it a lovely color. Works Like a Charm, I’m kinda just meh about. Let me know what you think in the comments!
Some nice polishes for St. Patrick’s Day.
I just picked up Works Like a Charm the other day! Too bad the formula isn’t stellar, but hopefully I’ll be able to make it work! I love the mint and gold together! Queen of Green is pretty awesome also!
Who knows? Maybe you bought one that has an awesome formula!
Queen of Green looks awesome!
