Hi everyone! I wanted to show you my current mani because I’m just so excited about how it turned out! 😀 I’m in a great group of fellow OPI nail polish lovers called OPI Mad Love (please join us!) and we’ve been doing OPI colors of the week – and this week is blue. I decided to try my hand at doing a mani!
I started off with OPI Keeping Suzi At Bay, a dusty ocean blue. Formula was a bit jelly and a little on the runny side. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Then I used an anchor decal on my ring finger with Fancy Gloss December’s MP 2016 sponged on top. This is a silvery-white pearl polish with strong teal-green glow and silvery holo shards.
On my pinky and thumb, I used wave vinyls and the Fancy Gloss polish. After removing the waves, I used 1 coat of OPI Better Be Blue (remember the mystery when I first showed that on this blog?)
This came out so much better than I expected it would, and hence why I just had to share it with you right away.
A little update on my family: the newest addition to our family, Henry, is doing well at 2 1/2 weeks old. He’s gaining weight well and is such a cute little baby, if I do say so myself. I’ve posted a couple of pictures of him on my instagram. Our family is adjusting to now being a family of 6 – which btw is crazy when we all went out together on Sunday (and exhausting, did I mention it was freaking exhausting??). I’m recovering well – not as fast as I’d like but again, I’m not even 3 weeks out from giving birth. So I need to pace myself (har-har-har!!).
Anyway, most posts from here until April are scheduled ahead posts but I’ll be popping in every once in awhile with fresh and new manis like I did today. I hope you are well – I read comments here and on my instagram and try to respond when I can. 🙂
Very cute nautical design!
That Fancy Gloss, though! It’s stunning!
