Happy day to you all! I hope you had a great weekend. Today I have some nail polish swatches and layering to show you with SuperMoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain, ILNP Phoenix, and Bad Bitch Polish Dripping Icicles [press sample, previously swatched].
(Hey all, from here on out for a while, posts are scheduled ahead of time because Henry is here! If you want to see a picture, here ya go: https://www.instagram.com/p/BPTtw5KA5fb/ )
I started off with SuperMoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain, which I received in a swap with another blogger. This is a multi chrome polish that shifts from blue to purple to green. The green was much more alive & glowy in person.
Formula was of good thickness, I found application to be a bit uneven BUT I think it might have been my base coat. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
I then sponged some ILNP Phoenix on top. I randomly sponged it on, I didn’t want it to cover up Mystic Mountain completely.
Phoenix is an “ultra chrome” flake polish in a clear base. The flakes shift from orange to purple to red to pink.
Last, I applied 1 coat plus top coat of Bad Bitch Polish Dripping Icicles [press sample, previously swatched].
This time around, I was able to get some sun photos of Dripping Icicles, which made me so happy because it’s such a sparkly polish.
I love when a layering combo just works together beautifully, don’t you?
