Happy New Year everyone! I hope you aren’t too tuckered out from celebrations last night. 😉 Today I thought I’d show you another makeup look with Wet N Wild, this time using the limited edition Plaid to the Bone eyeshadow palette and Liquid Catsuit in Rebel Rose. (Have you checked out last week’s makeup look with the Velour Vixen eyeshadow palette?)
Plaid to the Bone has three eyeshadows in this palette for brow bone (top), crease (middle), and eyelid (bottom).
The brow bone color is a buttery gold color, it does have quite a bit of fall out. The crease color is a dry navy blue, it does not blend very easily. The eyelid color is a brown-red base with teal shimmer, it applies very nicely.
Rebel Rose is a slightly bright nude pink (on me) that matches closely what you see on the outside of the bottle.
It is a true matte that doesn’t dry out my lips. It doesn’t stain my lips and it doesn’t last all day, but it is gorgeous every day color.
For this makeup look, I did use each color where suggested but found that the shimmery gold was too dark by my eyebrow. I ended up using the cream from last week’s makeup look next to my eyebrow. The navy blue was hard to blend so be prepared for that if you use it!
Paired with the lippie, this ended up being a nice toned down look. I really do adore the teal eyeshadow and I think for the price of this palette (I think I paid $2.50 or $3.50?) it’s worth picking up! Let me know your thoughts. 🙂
