Oh my gosh! Old mani alert! 😛 This mani is from way back in June. Uhh, oops? Anyway, let’s take a look at this sort of failure with Poetry Cowgirl Snowfall, Pahlish Test Batch Highgarden, and Morgan Taylor West Coast Cool.
Pahlish Test Batch: Highgarden is a mid-toned holographic purple with purple flakes. No complaints on formula! This is 2 coats plus top coat.
I didn’t get a chance to swatch Morgan Taylor West Coast Cool, so here are some more pics of Highgarden. But WCC is a gorgeous blue polish that will stain (sorry to say!).
Poetry Cowgirl Snowfall is a jelly white base with varying sizes of white, black, and iridescent glitters. It does dry matte, and had good glitter coverage. This is 2 coats plus top coat.
I started off with Snowfall, then covered up half of it with Highgarden.
Then I used a nail stripe to divide the upper half and painted over with West Coast Cool. This is where it went a bit wonky. Did I mention I was staying up late to create this before we went on vacation the next day? All I’m saying is, I wasn’t at my best. 😛
So individually I like these polishes on their own, and perhaps I like them together. But definitely not with this design! What do you think?
Really neat nails.
