Well, hello there!

Hi everyone! My apologies for the lack of posting lately. We went on vacation and I had posts lined up for while we were gone, but then when we got back I just had no time to sit down and edit photos or write up posts.

To be honest, this summer has been sucking me dry of energy. Between the two older kids running around with high energy, a baby on the verge of toddlerhood (seriously, he’s been walking since 8 1/2 months old!), into everything and NEVER SLEEPING (ugh!), and surprise, I’m pregnant! We’re due in late January, and “morning” sickness has hit me hard all day long. After our vacation, I’ve been taking TWO naps a day just to feel somewhat normal.

I have photos galore of nails and nail art ready to show you but between the lure of a nap versus editing & writing up a post – napping pretty much always wins. Shoot, there are days when I don’t shower because I’d rather nap!

I still enjoy painting my nails though I’ve had zero time lately to do so, and I know that I’ll have energy again one day. 😛 I don’t want to just fall off the face of the earth, because I hate when bloggers do that. But lately it’s taking me an embarrassingly long time to take photos of my nails, edit them, and write up a post. :/ I used to be able to knock out 20 polishes in an afternoon and have all the photos edited by evening and write up a post in 10 minutes. Now it takes 2 or 3 days to do all that.

I’m hoping this Sunday I’ll have time to sit down and edit, write & schedule posts. I’m going to try to stick to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule for now. I hope you’ll bear with me as I struggle to balance my kids and family and writing up posts. 🙂 Bye for now!

  1. Oh wow, congratulations! I’ve always wanted to have 4 kids (although I doubt that’s gonna happen, haha!) but I can imagine how busy you are! I remember my sister mentioning how exhausted she was during the first few months of her pregnancy, so hopefully you’re feeling better soon.

  2. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Take your time and rest as much as possible. I hope you feel better soon and that horrible morning sickness leaves you alone for good!

  3. Congrats on your pregnancy! Get lots of rest while you can. Family always comes first! I had horrible “morning” sickness that lasted all day for several months. NOT fun. :p

  4. OMG another baby, congrats!! 😀 Take all the time you need, it’s nice to see you around but we will all be here when there is a bit more time for you to sit down later on down the road, too. 🙂 ❤
