Good morning! I’m really pleased to show off the newest trio from Bad Bitch Polish that launches today. Throughout this summer, BBP will be launching trios of alcohol themed colors. Each trio will have an alcohol (jelly polish) and two mixers (glitter bombs). There will be Gin, Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, and Tequila trios.
I have the Gin trio – Gin, Mint, and Tonic – to show you today. (Guest appearance here by Trailhead Spirits Gin – a Made in Montana product!)
First up is Gin, a blue jelly polish that has just a tinge of green in it. Formula was fantastic! This is 2 coats and no top coat – just look at that shine.
Over Gin, I’ve used Tonic, a clear-based glitter bomb with iridescent glitters of various sizes, and white hexes. Tonic has nice coverage and good suspension of glitters. This is 1 coats plus top coat.
Mint is also a slightly-tinted green based glitter bomb with glitters of various sizes of white, green, lime, and clear. This also has nice coverage and good suspension. This is 2 coats plus top coat. (What looks like a blank spot in the middle of my ring finger is actually a piece of clear glitter.)
Now how about some combos? (I may have gone a little crazy with the jelly sammiches!) This is 1 coat of Gin over the 2 coats of Mint.
This is a jelly sandwich of Gin, then Tonic, then Gin.
This is one coat of Tonic over 1 coat of Mint.
This is a jelly sandwich of Mint, then Tonic, then Mint.
This is a double jelly sandwich of Mint, Tonic, Mint, Tonic, and then Gin.
As I said, I got a little carried away with my combos, but I was having so much fun! Which one is your favorite?
The Gin trio releases today, June 10 at the Bad Bitch Polish shop. The trio is $27 or individual polishes are $9.50.
