Hi everyone! I’m so excited to show you today this 10-piece nail polish collection from Polish ‘M called the Rest & Relaxation collection. Doesn’t Spook the cat look so relaxed with them below?
This collection will launch in conjunction with the Indie Shop Event on May 21 and then will be available later this summer. I know I appreciate larger nail polish collection being made available for a longer period of time because then I can space out my purchases.
I will add that I had the darndest time getting these to show up on camera how bright they were in real life. Just trust me, they are so bright in person! You’ll see different lighting in this post: lightbox set up, shade, and direct sun.
Formula-wise: I’m going to talk about formula first, as it was pretty much the same across the board. I used a thin coat first, allowed to dry, then applied a thicker second coat. Except for the two crelly polishes, which I’ll talk about below, I used 2 coats plus top coat (as they dry matte) for the following 8 polishes.
First up is Don’t Stress, a hot pink with gold micro flakes and pink shimmer.
Do Your Best is a pink-leaning peach polish with gold micro flakes and peach shimmer. This is has a definite pink tone in it that I couldn’t capture.
Forget the Rest is a bright yellow polish with gold micro flakes and yellow-green shimmer. More of a highlighter yellow in person. Pssst…I don’t hate this yellow! 😀
Push Pause is a lime-green polish with gold micro flakes and green shimmer.
Just Breathe is a minty green polish with gold micro flakes and green shimmer.
I Need Beach is a blue-teal green polish with gold micro flakes and pink flakes.
A Quiet Mind is a periwinkle blue polish with gold micro flakes.
Relax & Unwind is a warm purple polish with gold micro flakes and purple shimmer.
The two crelly polishes both needed a good “manly” shake. (The glitters had settled against the bottle and I handed them both to my husband to give a good shakeup.) I used 3 thin coats plus top coat for both crellies.
Slow Down A Bit is a brighter blue version of I Need Beach, with neon glitters of various sizes.
Take a Load Off is a cooler toned purple than Relax & Unwind, with various sized glitters in white, pink, teal, orange, and purple.
My favorites are I Need Beach, Slow Down A Bit, Do Your Best. Which ones do you like best? If you’re headed to the Indie Shop event in California on Friday, you’ll see these there, but otherwise be on the lookout for them coming this summer at Polish ‘M.
