First from Firecracker Lacquer is a holographic nail polish called Stuff That Turkey.
The base of this is like antique silver with blue sparkle, shot through with bronze, it is so unique!
This is 3 thin coats plus top coat. Pretty great formula on this!
Next is Darling Diva Polish Cover It In Gravy, a slightly tinted color shifting base with ultra chrome flakes and holographic finish.
I’m not going to lie, I might have jumped for joy inside my soul knowing that this polish is mine. Just by slightly shifting my nail, it looks so different!
This is 1 coat over Stuff That Turkey with top coat. Perfect formula as always! Do you see the bronzy goodness in the bottle in the photo above?
Of course, I wanted to try this out over black (China Glaze Liquid Leather, 2 coats). This is where you can see that the base is slightly tinted.
At this point, all I can say is that I became maybe just a bit obsessed with taking pictures. And I am not ashamed. 😉
As I was headed inside, I noticed how different the polish looked in the shade, and of course had to take a picture. The flakes really stand out even in the shade.
Am I a little sorry to show you a duo that’s no longer available? Yes, I am, just a wee bit. DDP and FL are doing more duos, likely in April, and they release sets through both Darling Diva Polish storefront and Firecracker Lacquer storefront.
What was the last polish you bought that had you staring at your nails?
