Pahlish Count Chocula’s Cape, Honeycrisp Candy II swatch + review

Purchased by Me buttonGood morning! After the craziness of Wednesday, I’m so glad it’s Thursday. But I gotta tell you, with the sun getting up late and going to bed early, this gal is craving some sunshine! Besides needing the Vitamin D – I need sun for taking holo photos, like for today’s two polishes from Pahlish: Count Chocula’s Cape and Honeycrisp Candy II. (IOW, no sun photos, boo!)

Count Chocula’s Cape is a gorgeous warm toned brown holographic nail polish with gold shimmer and red-tone specks (flakes?).

This is 2 flawless coats plus top coat. I’ve been changing my mind on brown polishes lately and this is one of the reasons why – seriously beautiful!

Honeycrisp Candy II is a pink berry holographic nail polish with violet-pink specks and shot through with green shimmer (almost impossible to capture!).

This is 2 coats plus top coat. You can slightly see the green sparkles in the macro above – it is so unexpected but a great surprise!

Picking a favorite here is just not possible so I won’t do it. Suffice it to say, if you didn’t catch these back in October from Pahlish.com (my bad!) you’ll have to look for them in de-stashes somewhere.

How do you cope in the winter with less sunshine?
