Hey all! Today I have a fairly new(ish) nail polish collection to show you: L’Oreal’s Bohemian Beauty, featuring: Sunkissed Silver, Boho Babe, Peaceful Pink, Radical Rose, Flower Crown, Blissful Blue, Totally Turquoise, and Gypsy Glitz. I have 7 of these – I’m only missing Sunkissed Silver because it totally reminded me of Aux Chandelles from the Dark Sides of Grey collection. Click through after the jump for the review!
Boho Babe is a light white-pink. It goes on thin and kinda patchy but kinda self-levels. I dunno, it’s weird. This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Peaceful Pink is a peachy-pink nail polish with hidden pink shimmer (note to makers: either show the shimmer or skip it, some of us are tired of this hidden shimmer crap!).
Like, that’s imperceptible shimmer. You have to let each coat dry otherwise you get dragging. It’s also patchy. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
Radical Rose is a purple-pink nail polish. It has a slightly thin formula but otherwise nice. It’s the standout of the collection in my opinion. This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Flower Crown is a warm mint nail polish. It’s thin and runny. My pictures show it slightly cooler than it is in person. This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Blissful Blue is a robin’s egg blue nail polish that’s been tinted slightly green. It’s thin and runny (sense a theme here?). I also feel like this could be a stainer (kind of stained my skin when it was on maybe 10 minutes). This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Totally Turquoise is a rich blue turquoise nail polish. My pictures could *not* show it accurately. 😦 Sorry! Formula on this is a little thin. And it’s a *HUGE* stainer. This is 2 coats, no top coat.
Last is Gypsy Glitz, a silvery base nail polish with holographic bar glitters (aka hairy glitter). I’ve shown it 1 uneven coat over Peaceful Pink, above.
This is 3 coats plus top coat. I really wanted to like this, I really did. But looking at it in person and in photos makes me wanna scratch my nails off.
If you’re into this sort of thing, here’s a macro of Gypsy Glitz.
So out of the 7 I bought, 1 is a definite winner: Radical Rose. I also like Flower Crown and Boho Babe. If you’re interested in picking up Peaceful Pink, Blissful Blue, Totally Turquoise, or Gypsy Glitz, I’m selling them for $6 a piece (shipped) plus invoice fees or $25 for all 4 shipped plus invoice fees. (Just email me at behappybuypolish@gmail.com and I’ll invoice you!)
Your thoughts on this mainstream collection?
Really nice swatches of them all. I like that there are some softer shades as well as more vibrant colors.
Not a fan of this collection L’Oreal. The formulas, the colors are kinda meh. And I’m with you on hidden shimmer. I’ll always like my drugstore brands. But I’m more a Revlon and Milani fangirl.
The holo itself lit up so nice in your pix, but…it’s like holo grass on your nails? I know many have tried to make it happen, didn’t Sally Hansen or someone refer to it as feathers?
Yes! Feathers, lmao. And it totally looks like holo grass. Haha!

It’s a pretty enough collection, but I’m not overly wowed by any of the colors!
Yeah, I wish they had a bit more pizzazz. LOL
