Hi everyone! Today’s prompt for the Challenge Your Nail Art group’s 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art challenge is Christmas trees and I’m afraid I have sort of a fail.
I started with Pretty & Polished Docked in Biscay Bay from the Dusty Cremes line. Seriously, I adore the Dusty Cremes. They are hardcore perfection. My photos show it a bit bluer than it is in person, it is a little more green tinged.
This is 2 flawless coats plus top coat.
I then used Bohemian Polish Snowbound [press sample] and Lake Placid Gold [press sample] to create snow, the tree, and the star on top of the tree. I’m afraid that my tree just didn’t come out proper. I was trying to recreate this retro look and kind of missed the mark. But I tried!
Let’s see what other ladies did for today:
The next prompt (in 2 days) is silver & gold glitter – here’s hoping I come up with something good! What do you think of my silly little tree?
