Good morning all! I have 4 pieces from Pretty & Polished‘s upcoming winter collection to show you today: Bubbles in My Champagne, Raisin a Toast, Pine Over Me, and Tinsel Hockey.
Bubbles in My Champagne is a light blue based crelly with champagne gold glitters and blue hexes. Shown here is 3 thin coats plus 2 coats of top coat.
I usually am all about
*dat bass* crellies but I had a bit of trouble with Bubbles – the darn blue hexes wouldn’t stay down. I talked with Chelsea (maker of P&P) and she thinks the blue hexes are sticking together and not laying flat. So, she will be trying to thin the blue hexes slightly so you don’t have any problems with the polish.
Next up is Raisin a Toast, a marsala wine Dusty Creme nail polish. This and Pine Over Me are my first Dusty Cremes and I love them! Seriously though. This is 2 easy coats plus one coat of top coat.
Here’s the other Dusty Creme I was able to try: Pine Over Me, a pine green creme nail polish. It is slightly warmer-toned than my pictures show. This is 2 coats plus one coat of top coat. It didn’t self-level as well as Raisin a Toast, but hey, I ain’t complainin’.
The last polish I was sent to review is Tinsel Hockey (get it? haha!). This is a gray textured polish with a slight holographic sparkle (you can see it at the edge of my nail in the macros) to it, as well as blue & pink sparkles.
This is 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. For once, I weirdly like a textured polish without top coat better!
Once again, I am blown away by the amazing polishes that Pretty & Polished releases. These 4 polishes, along with 6 others, will be releasing tomorrow, December 1. She now stocks mini & full size polishes, and prices range from $4.25 (mini) to $9 (full size).
Which ones are you gravitating towards from today’s post?
