Orly Color Blast Cinderella Nail Polish Collection (partial)

Purchased by Me buttonGood afternoon everyone! I picked up some Orly Color Blast nail polishes the other day from the Cinderella display at Walgreens and I have my picks to show you. They include: Cinderelly, Cinderelly!, Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue, Fairy Dust (no not that one), Oh That Clock!, Magical Carriage, and Wicked Stepmother. 4 of these were in a mini nail polish set (5.3ml each), and 2 are “full size” (11ml).

Cinderelly, Cinderelly! is a duochrome nail polish with a base of dusky blue that shifts to pink-red to yellow-orange.

This is 3 thin coats plus top coat. It is kinda uneven and brushstrokey. See that orange-yellow-green-blue in the bottle? Ummm, yes. You should still buy it anyway because it is gorgeous. It reminds me of a sky at dusk.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue is a periwinkle blue creme nail polish. Pretty basic and not much special about it. I’m almost for positive that Sinful Colors Sail La Vie might be a dupe for this.

This is 2 thin coats plus top coat. It is really thin but it self-levels quite nicely.

Fairy Dust is a clear based glitter topper with white squares and small iridescent circles.

This is 1 coat over BBB. It is quite thick and hard to get glitters out, so I sort of “floated” one coat over BBB. If the formula were better, I’d say thumbs up.

Oh, That Clock! is a metallic gold-shifty-silver nail polish.

It’s quite brushstroke-y and dang if it doesn’t dry super fast. But it looks very cool and antique-y and has a red sort of sparkle that I couldn’t quite capture.

Cinderella Orly Color Blast Magical Carriage | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Magical Carriage is a mauve creme nail polish that in the bottle I totally though “Boring gramma polish” but it has a 90s feel to it, somehow.

This is 2 coats and no top coat (oooh, shiny!). The first coat was quite sheer and I thought for sure I’d need 3 coats, but happily, I only needed 2. It also self-levels quite nicely.

Cinderella Orly Color Blast Wicked Stepmother | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Last is Wicked Stepmother, and it’s the reason I bought the 4-piece mini set. It’s a blackened grey with purple and gold shimmer.

This is 2 coats plus top coat, and has a really nice formula. I tried so hard to get that purple shimmer to show up – it’s much more prevalent in person.

I’m happy with the ones I bought (save for Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue and Fairy Dust). I’m definitely going back for full size of Cinderelly, Cinderelly! but I highly suggest getting the 4-piece mini nail polish set just for Wicked Stepmother (dang, I wish that was available in full size!).

Have you picked any of these up yet?

  1. I’ve been wearing Cinderelly, Cinderelly for over a week. Orly always holds up well for me. I’m going back for another bag and I see I need this mini set, too. That dusty mauve!!! and the black!!!

    • I love love the dusty rose color my skin is a strange olivesque tone but not super dark in winter but I got so many compliments on the Magical Carriage. Apparently it’s a great color for me. Any suggestions for a dupe? With such a small bottle I am scared to use it all so fast 😦

  10. I got both the mini sets and the full size Cinderelly Cinderelly…. went back today to get more and they had been pulled from the self. The Walgreens employees told me they had been recalled. I’m really upset that I won’t be able to complete my collection…
