Bohemian Polish Adirondack Winter collection swatches + review

Press Sample buttonGood morning all! Have you already been up for sales? I don’t really do that any more, sleep is very precious to me lately. 😉 I do have a collection that released today from Bohemian Polish called the Adirondack Winter, an 8-piece nail polish collection. Lots of pictures ahead!

Bohemian Polish Adirondack Winter nail polish collection | Be Happy And Buy Polish

The husband of Jennifer, (creator of Bohemian Polish), shared fond memories of growing up in upstate New York, and spending winter days & nights at Cranberry Lake. All of the polishes are inspired by these memories – except for A Cardinal in Winter. Jennifer shared that seeing a cardinal in winter means you will prosper in the spring. (Oh how nifty!)

Bohemian Polish Snowbound | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Snowbound is a white nail polish with scattered holographic effect and rainbow glitter. This is 2 coats plus top coat.

I tried so hard to capture the sparkle that was in the bottle but I could not get it to show up on the nail at all. *sad face*

It has a nice thickness, and self-levels almost perfectly. It dries gritty, so a good thick top coat is a must.

Bohemian Polish Cranberry | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Next is Cranberry, a really lovely cranberry crelly red nail polish. The formula on this is a bit thin, but the shine is incredible! This is 2 coats with no top coat.

Bohemian Polish Boughs of Pine | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Boughs of Pine is up next, and this is a deliciously dark pine green crelly polish. Again the formula is a bit thin but it has such shine! This is 2 coats with no top coat.

Bohemian Polish After the Bonfire | Be Happy And Buy Polish

After the Bonfire is next and I lurve it! This is a grey jelly nail polish with little flecks of blue-gold. I’m showing it here with 3 thin coats plus top coat. It does dry darker than it is in the bottle.

Bohemian Polish Lake Placid Gold | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Lake Placid Gold is a great gold micro glitter nail polish. This is 2 coats plus top coat.

Formula on this is a bit thick but that just helps it stay right where you want it (in my opinion). It also dries gritty so be sure to have a good thick top coat.

Here is 1 coat of Lake Placid Gold over Cranberry, plus top coat. I like that it can be used over another color!

Bohemian Polish A Cardinal in Winter | Be Happy And Buy Polish

A Cardinal in Winter is a red/pink/orange holographic nail polish. To my eye, it also had a bit of gold shimmer as well. So pretty!

This is 2 coats plus top coat – it dries slightly dull but not too bad. Good formula on this one! I love how in the sunshine, it has that orange tone that cardinals have, and inside it’s just bright and cheery.

Bohemian Polish Twilight | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Next is Twilight, a blue-leaning-purple holographic nail polish with purple to blue shifting micro flakes. This also dries slightly dull but a coat of top coat takes care of that!

This is 2 coats plus top coat. Good formula on this one as well. I am really reminded of winter twilight here in Montana with this polish, so I’d say she nailed this polish!

Bohemian Polish Off the Trail | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Last is Off the Trail, a pine green holographic nail polish with gold sparks. This was almost a One Coat Wonder!

This is 2 coats plus top coat, as it dries slightly dull like the other holographics in this collection. Formula was really great on this one!

These have already released this morning at Bohemian Polish on etsy. Bohemian Polish also is having a sale right now – use the code “BF40P” for 40% off everything, plus free shipping AND a gift with every purchase! That’s a pretty great deal in my book.

My favorites are After the Bonfire, Twilight, and Off the Trail. I’d love to know your favorites!

Finally, I hope you are having a good holiday weekend (if you’re in the USA). Enjoy your families and friends and stay warm & safe!
