Pink and Teal Skittlette

Press Sample buttonWoohoo, it’s Monday! Say what, Jessica? Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m a little nutty sometimes. Let’s jump right into today’s manicure with takko lacquer, KBShimmer, and Darling Diva Polish!

I used 3 thin coats of takko electric flamingo on my pointer and middle fingers. This is really gorgeous, but it was damn near impossible to get the flakies to show up on camera. boo! On my pinky, I used 2 coats of Darling Diva Polish Mother (press sample) and brush-dotted DDP Bad Ass (press sample) on top.

On my ring and thumb, I used two coats of KBShimmer She Twerks Out. I’ve shown it above inside the lightbox and in the sun. The sun photo is more color accurate.

I love doing fun skittles like this, if you couldn’t tell! What’s your favorite kind of manicure to do?

  1. My favorite manis to do are gradients/ombres. I rarely do skittle like designs due to my OCD lol Your mani is lovely though and that blue! swoon!

  2. I think my favorite kind of manis are dotticures. I just love dots on my nails…and on my clothes…i just love dots. lol I love the colors you used for your skittelette.

  3. This is so super fun! And no worries, I see the flakies and I bet they’re even more gorgeous IRL. Love how you mixed ‘n matched glitters and shimmers and flakies and colours so well!
