Happy Wednesday to you, my ahhhhmazing reader! Today I have one gorgeous polish to show you: Bear Pawlish Holiday On the Moon. (Seriously, photo heavy post coming up!)
Bear Pawlish Holiday on the Moon was created for the members of the group, Hella Holo Customs (more on joining the group later in this post).
Each month, 2 different indie polish makers are invited to create 1 or 2 custom polishes based around a photo idea, and members are asked to vote on a name. Bear Pawlish was one of the makers for the month of June…this is also my first Bear Pawlish polish!
Holiday on the Moon is such a hard polish to describe! It is a color shifting nail polish that shifts from green to purple to blue to red to orange to steel blue PLUS it is holographic and has red iridescent glitters in it! *phew*
So here is Holiday On the Moon in my standard lightbox pose. You can see the green to blue to purple shift but it’s mainly green, right?
Then in my non-standard lightbox pose, you can start to see a more prominent shift.
As I was walking to take my natural light photo, I stopped by my front windows and took this photo. It was the best I could get the purple to red to orange-ish shift. But believe me, in low-lights, the red to orange was much more prominent!
So of course, I had to go outside to get some sun photos, right? And wowza! I really wasn’t sure about those red glitters when I first bought the polish, but they really did provide some amazing depth and flash to the polish.
Then as I was walking back into the house, I was looking at my nails (umm, I was really distracted by this polish, btw!) and saw that my nails looked different again! Here, even the red glitters looked different.
Last photo, I swear! 😛 I was walking out the door with my kids and noticed that the sun hit my nails differently and now the polish had a blue tinge to it!
Seriously, this polish should have been subtitled “Bear Pawlish Plays With Magic: Becomes Sorceress in Process”. haha! Can you tell that I’m really happy I bought this polish? I almost feel bad in showing you something that isn’t readily available. (almost)
If you’re interested in being a part of the Hella Holo Customs group, you can request to join by emailing hellaholocustomercare@gmail.com with your email address that is tied to your Facebook account. You won’t be disappointed if you join!
Let me know what you think of this magical polish in the comments!
So so pretty! Love the different shots and angles of it.
This is so beautiful, it almost looks like an entirely different polish in some pictures! Very impressive.. holo with duo? chrome? multichrome?! Gorgeous! xx
wow, you did an amazing job capturing the beauty of this polish. The process of joining and ordering seemed too involved for me, so I missed out on this, sadly.
Oh my gosh that is totally speaking to me! I don’t own any Bear Pawlishes yet! Thanks for sharing!
Those sun photos are amazing!
This polish is extremely beautiful out in the sun!
