Good morning all! I hope you will join me in welcoming Michelle from The Lazy Lacquerista who is guest-posting for me today. 🙂

Hello Be Happy And Buy Polish readers!

I’m Michelle from The Lazy Laquerista and Jessica has been kind enough to let me take over her blog for the day.  Today I have some nail art I did with Bora Bora from The Polish Bar’s Late Summer Collection to show you.  I started out with Bora Bora, a scatter holo on the border of pink and purple, as my base.  Then I added a coat of Zoya Maisie.  I love how the blue-green iridescent flakes contrast with the base colour.  The flakies reminded me of fish scales… so I took that inspiration literally and stamped some on using ILNP Northern Lights and Bundle Monster plate BM-502.  Finally, I sealed everything up with one coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat.  The photos below were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.

… and here are a couple more shots with more shaded lighting so you can really see those flakies pop.

I really love the result.  The shift and shimmer from the flakies really makes the design stand out.  If you liked this post, please come check me out in my natural habitat.

Happy polishing,
Michelle

Thank you, Michelle, for your awesome guest post today. These fish scales are just everything! 😀 I hope my readers check your blog out and give you a follow.
